Absolutely you can't or you shouldn't sell a vehicle without valid papers, and yes you are right he won't get anything even if he is having all the papers, so either he should keep the vehicle with himself or scrap the bike. But even if he wants to keep the bike with himself then also RC is mandatory.

He can procure duplicate RC through RTO, the way is little time consuming but can be done.

Not only time consuming, but money too.. besides the bike is UP registered. Its going to be bit too tedious to get the job done.. my question now is. Is it worth it?? Along with the engine rebuild and the RC work, the cost is more than 10000.. assuming he is going replace major components of the engine and bore..

Am planning to find out if any of my relatives have an Yezdi with all the papers and revive it

Time consuming well absolutely yes, official fees shouldn't be that much, whole of the engine rebuild will cost 10,000/- rs., and every major engine component must be changed, now the question whether all of this work is worth for its price actually depends on person to person, you can't put a price tag on one's emotions, if one feels that his emotions or his memories are attached to a particular object then it's priceless, and for others it might be useless spending, attachement or feelings shouldn't be measured in money or can't be measured in money, isn't it.


That's good buddy if you find a Yezdi with complete papers and want to restore it then pls notify me i will be more than happy to be the part of that rebuild.

I remember you said RD350 with complete papers for 40k. Chameleon? Huh!


Pegasus jerks in all gears in quarter throttle and if I keep holding it in the same throttle position, power suddenly catches and engine revs. If I try to wring the throttle in neutral/clutch then also it only absorbs air and not fuel, giving jerks.
I am driving my Pegasus without air filter cover. today only removed because of those idiotic thieves work!
However I have the side panels. The rain came, I tried to start the bike, not started, tried choke, started, gave jerks and then cutoff-ed.
What To DO????
