Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
Gear shift is smooth however if I release clutch it's not so smooth. And acceleration is not consistentOriginally posted by saikatbyte View PostBike will do less speed compared to rpm it hits before. Say, a new bike goes 79kmph at 6k rpm with stock tyres & sprockets. Now, if the rpm is higher than 6k at 79kmph, then the clutch is slipping.
Also, the gear shifting will not be smooth, a bit jerky.

Hi. Odo is around 22k.... pickup is okay but not consistentOriginally posted by Rajdip Saha View PostWhat's your odo reading?
Does your bike feel sluggish and do you feel the pickup has reduced?

That was really informative. You have some good diy skills, keep posting more videos.
BTW on my fzs v2 whenever there is a bump I get a squeaking sound from the rear, sounds like when you sit on a sofa whose springs have gone kaput.Though the sound is so minimal and low that I dont hear unless I am really focusing.
Can this be due to the swingarm bearings though I dont have any vibration or bike pulling one side issue as you mentioned.
PS I have my preload adjusted to the hardest setting.

However, I don't see any difference in bike performance, it's working as usual
Is there a way to find if clutch is really worn out and should be changed
Also, only clutch plate needs to be changed or the complete assembly

Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
Bro, how often have you cleaned the injector of your Fazer Fi at SVC. Does Yamaha recommend any schedule for the same ?Originally posted by bobisbacktorock View PostThanks bro. It sounds like your bearings needs either greasing or replacement. Good luck.

It's not recommended to empty your tank.Originally posted by shakilskl View PostIf im compleately empty my fuel tank then any problems affect ??
i Want to check milage of my fzs fi
There is an application in android
It's name is "fuelio" you calculate your milage using this app by filling full tank to full tank

It is not recomended to empty your fuel tank on a fuel injected vehicle, as fuel pump running dry may cause issues.Originally posted by shakilskl View PostIf im compleately empty my fuel tank then any problems affect ??

For checking mileage just do a full tank to full tank check.

Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
its common with most of the bikes, not only fzOriginally posted by Rajdip Saha View PostIf you place your bike on side stand , then turn it on and start riding you will get wrong reading, it takes quite some time to give the proper reading.
To get proper reading put your bike on main stand or if your bike was on side stand, sit on your bike put both feet on ground and make sure the surface is even after 20-30 seconds start your bike you will get proper reading.
