^^^ I will suggest you to wait for new CBRs, which will mostly come early next year. I too am holding on for an upgrade, but CBR is surely up for an upgrade, Inazuma's future is not sure, and Hero's new ZMA doesn't have good reviews as its previous versions. So holding on to my current ride till next year.

Today I went to Honda showroom in Thane I enquired about the CBR300 the sales guy said he has no info about it at the moment but yes it is coming.

Want 2 cylinder only...so CBR is out of question. Inazuma met the price + practicality criteria. Let's see what's awaiting in 2015.

There wont be any other twin will come under 3L in 2015 I feel. if the future of Inazuma is not worrying you, this is the best you can get.Originally posted by roy_arnab22 View PostWant 2 cylinder only...so CBR is out of question. Would I be exaggerating when I say, "Had I not been in the current financial-depression an Inazuma would be between my legs in weekends for long rides"?Originally posted by roy_arnab22 View PostWant 2 cylinder only...so CBR is out of question. Apologies buddy, just noticed your post. Well, haven't been able to run the bike as much as I'd like, but there's a short trip coming up, post which I plan to pen the review. Please hold on.Originally posted by Strider619 View Post@raja_ghuru, hello mate, any tour review on Inazuma?

One of the reviews in India, I saw one rider, owning Suzuki Inauzma Z (new UK sticker version). Any idea about that model selling in India? 2 days to go, to come to India. Second thing in my list for this weekend is to see the dealer in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.

I have no idea about the Z model; well, doesn't matter anymore does it (if they indeed plan to phase this bike out)?

If one of your criteria is to own a twin, then I think good days are ahead. There's news that Yamaha has plans to bring in the R25 - if locally assembled should make terrific sense (in addition to being a proper sportbike).Originally posted by SparKot View PostWould I be exaggerating when I say, "Had I not been in the current financial-depression an Inazuma would be between my legs in weekends for long rides"?

I lean towards Suzuki V-Strom 650(ABS) kind of tourers. Frankly speaking, no racing instincts here; all adventure and aimless riding.Originally posted by raja_ghuru View Post...

Re: Suzuki Inazuma 250 - Owners Reviews
Suzuki dealer called me and confirmed that from March 2015 they are going to stop importing the bike. I asked that is it discontinue model but they denied. Saying that it will be assembled in india.. But not made in India so there will be no difference in price as he said today.

Isn't there a duty difference between CKD import and CBU import? The latter is higher. So by assembling in India, the cost should be less.Originally posted by Strider619 View PostSuzuki dealer called me and confirmed that from March 2015 they are going to stop importing the bike. Re: Suzuki Inazuma 250 - Owners Reviews
Current Zuma we get here is an assembled one(CKD unit). its not CBU. Sales person might be unaware of it by saying this but then why he said "it will be assembled here" when its an already assembled model? i think, If Suzuki says they are going to stop "importing", means they will stop the complete import process of this bike(that includes CKD assembly line for Zuma). Did I understand it wrong?Originally posted by Strider619 View PostSuzuki dealer called me and confirmed that from March 2015 they are going to stop importing the bike. Re: Suzuki Inazuma 250 - Owners Reviews
I think the dealer might think we buyers don't know what is happening in the automobile world like import and stuffs!! I agree with you guys! I was just saying what the dealer said. Most of the time the sales man know less than the customers in details of the vehicle.

Re: Suzuki Inazuma 250 - Owners Reviews
With respect to Inazuma. I bought bike 2 months ago and i had this feeling that this bike would b withdrew from India market as it us baised towards bhp number than overall biking experience. So just to give myself some space, i asked dealer to setup a call with Suzuki marketing division and he did.
What i was told that-
*as per Indian law, one has to provide service for 10 yrs even if the product is withdrawn from market.
*every Inazuma dealer has stocked ₹300,000 parts. Others can be ordered.
*couple with Suzuki refunding money to early customers; i did not have any doubt and went ahead with purchase.
I amvery satisfied.
