Hi,
I want to improve these 2 of the bike -
1. The seat width: does anyone know, whr can I get that done in Bangalore?
2. The wind shield- inazuma does not have any and at the speed above 85, it becomes a problem. Which bike's fairing will fit or can Avaneger's wind shield be installed Om Zuma?

I felt the seat width was fine. I am curious why you need it to be more wide. Only for persons who sit one sided on pillion seat, wide seats are helpful. Any particular reason for needing wide seats?

What's the cost of first service?

Hi,
Firstly congrats on the Zuma. now coming to your querry well there are very few skilled people to go to I'd suggest try going to Rao (Shivajinagar) not the ideal place tat you want to take the Zuma to but then maybe you could go to him first with pictures of the bike and some measurements and check if he can do it and take an appointment and go when the place is less crowded

A 3500+ km ownership report coming up, but not at the moment. A bit busy & watching WC 2015 in the free time (apart from commuting on the Zuma)! When I pen it, I promise to keep it very detailed.

I now take an exit from this discussion, announcing that I have gone the Ninja 300 route It\'s not as comfortable as Inazuma, but it is a different breed. I figured the age of riding the bikes such as Ninja will be limited, whereas comfortable bikes such as Inzuma can be ridden at any later age. Hence my decision.

All the best wishes for current and hopeful owners of Inazuma.
My last discussion with the Chennai Suzuki dealer doesn't hint at it being discontinued - rather they're still taking bookings & making deliveries. The Svc in-charge mentioned that Suzuki India faced an interim issue with importing kits, which caused some issue with stocks, but it since has been sorted & they're taking bookings now. My guess is the new kits being imported might be the 2015 MY, not sure though.

It's still a good decision to go for the Ninja 300, but wait until the ABS version is available; also, while it offers a lot more power, I doubt if it will provide you with the effortless rideability in the city on higher gears, or the supreme ride comfort. I strongly suggest you consider the Benelli TNT 300, as well - touted as the Inazuma with the added performance (still no ABS). As for me, I wouldn't be putting 3.5L+ on a bike without ABS.

raja_ghuru: Do post the ownership report whenever it is possible. I have already purchased a N300 and have ridden it more than 4k kms so far. Benelli 300 is not VFM as compared to z250/N300. (unlike Zuma)

Bad thing happens to my Black Duckling last month but now everything is fine.
My one friend asked me bike for a ride. and while parking he dropped the bike on wall corner. fuel tank broken badly due to corner impact.

service center estimated 34,000/- for repairing fuel tank, will be changed fully, insurance claimed,

In short, part will be imported from china according to him after insurance approval took 18-19 days for getting the parts in svc center, called me after 20 days, took 2 hours service time, bike is looking as good as new now. claimed 30,00/- remaining 4,000/- paid by my friends.
but now i am not giving him bike anymore, and suggested him buy atleast Duke or RC to satisfy his passion.
overall good service support in times of my Crysis and i think even if Inazuma is discontinued service support will be good if not best. and svc center confirmed that he has all the consumable like brake pads etc. handy with them.

• I am finally united with my love .... The Suzuki Inazuma

Took a Train early morning to Nashik(Maharashtra) with a very close friend of mine. Reached there at 10:00 ... Had some refreshments at Dwarka Hotel outside Nasik Rd Station. Took a Shared rick to my destination. Completed the nitigrities and started my way back to Mumbai. My friend on the pillion seat was very quiet while we were on the Nasik shirdi Highway. As soon as we took a left on the Nasik Mumbai Highway, i started to open the throttle a little. This poured some energy into my pillion too who was a first timer on a Twin Engine. I was also on the look out for a Fuel pump as i had just 2 bars on the fuel gauge. finally i found an HP pump and topped up there.
Now i did not have any worries and started using the power at hand. I just wanted to make sure that i get a feel of the bike and so i used to go up to 110KMPH and back down to 90KMPH. After about 30 kms i got into the grove and started pushing it and took it up to 125kmph. Then came the Kasara Ghats. The Zuma just loved the curves. It was responding to every lean i took on the bike. My pillion was a little worried on the 1st curve but then got the hang of it and went with the flow. I have done this on the Discover 150 and enjoyed it, but the zuma handled the curves as clean as a whistle. As soon as we were down the Ghats, It became warmer and we stopped for some refreshments and to Freshen up. My pillion was talking about a rumbler that i had gone over without halting. He said that the kind of ease that the zuma went over it, he hasn't felt that in car either.
It is truly an amazing bike. We started from there and did not stop till we reached Mulund. I handed over the bike to my pillion for about 15Kms. His feedback was that he has never ridden a bike smoother than this. I agree with every word he said as when we both reached home neither of us were tired.
I have planned another trip tomorrow to the Ghats. I want to get the feeling of the Bike and start with my Goals as soon as i can settle down with my Zuma.
I will be posting pics soon.

Wow man, you got the best of both worlds. You got a superb bike, and without the initial heavy depreciation (which the original owner had to suffer).
