    Hi all,

I had completed >12,000KM on my Black Duckling (Inazuma GW250) third service completed.

1.) Nothing much to add just regular servicing, though rats had attacked through the hole below seat on wiring but could get through as tape & plastic cover was thick, but you never know when rats will win over so i was lucky, now keeping track every second day to check the culprit.

2.) I think need to change brake pad on 15,000KM service but till now its fine and can complete 3-4000 km more. one person here was suggesting brake pad of CBR 250, so can I use that?.

3.) Lots of long ride 150KM to 300KM per day but never faced any reliability issue. I was able to cruise 110 KMPH on a single stretch regularly, and bike really feels very composed and no vibration, accelerating reasonably well till 137KMPH with ease top speed I was able to extract, though power delivery is linear & smooth till that speed never felt that i am dragging to reach that top speed(137KMPH).

4.) Others please comment what is the top speed they get on speedo?

5.) I feel his head light assembly rattle little sound on bad roads but i want to emphasize that no vibration, only sound. May be after next service it will stop.

6.) And I got call from Suzuki showroom that they are giving official Inazuma accessory(Crash guard) for INR8000 but could not install due to money problem.

7.) Enjoy the acceleration only the premium cars like BMW, Audi etc or premium bikes( No Duke 200/ R15) only can overtake my Duckling otherwise I am normally overtaking >95% traffic on typical driving session.

8.) After this 12000KM also, Yes all the fits & finish are same no sign of wear & tear. except foot plate at gear peg near heels(i dont know what it is called) show some sign of color wear but nothing to worry about.

9.) Very practical bike to ride anywhere anytime with lots of comfort for long or short distance, may be low Top speed but hey, Just ignite and fire away. Very balanced bike (feature wise) to commute/ride. You will love NIRVANA.

Regarding the Brake Pads - The CBR250R is the one with ABS and only the rear ones are compatible to the Inazuma. For the Front Brake Pads you need the EBC FA142 Brake Pads.
In all the cases, match the Old and the new ones back to back and verify the sizes and shape before installation.
The EBC Brake Pads are available at PlanetDSG : Motorcycle Riding Gear, Accessories, Apparel and...

I checked with the Chennai dealership. No such offers (in fact they're not aware of any other owner having bought the crash guard).

had to get it off as it wasn't angled properly and was baning on the mudguard during big bumps
                    luckily the mudguard didn't break

                          Hi all,

I had ordered K&N air filter SU2513 for my duckling don't know if it will increase performance or change sound, can any body comment on aftermarket K&N filter. Waiting for arrival and installation.

And if nothing else it will recover its cost in 40,000km as K&N is giving 1 million km warranty. And we need to change stock air filter after every 10,000km.

Price I got is 4500/- delivered in Delhi.

Finger crossed then can anyone comment on K&N

Mine is stock. Haven't put on miles as much as I would've liked to. Nearing 10k. Didn't realize the air filters are replaced every 10k (thought only the oil filters were).

While I don't know the price of stock air filter in Inazuma, K&N filter also requires cleaning. The K&N cleaning kit comes around 1600 IIRC and you would need to clean the filter every 4-5k km depending on where you live (shopkeeper suggested 10k km for Delhi and bike apache 1st gen but you can feel the performance dip after 2-3k). But yes, K&N filter surely gives a bike a nice sporty feel with the deep sound and initial acceleration.

I have used the K&N on my CBR 250r , there is noticeable increase in low end and mid range. Engine was responsive at lower rpms. The installation on the CBR250 was easy as plug n play.

How is the installation on the zuma?
