Hi All,

Im from Bangalore.

Have had a duke 390 for 15 months now and i yearn for a smooth twin. I guess my realization is a bit late as i called a couple of showrooms and they said it the zuma was discontinued in Feb 2015.

Is there a way i can still get my hands on one? im ok with a preowned one as well (checked OLX, quikr and all possible classifieds - no luck)

Please advise. I really need the zuma.

Heyas .... Been more than a month with the Zuma. as expected, super smooth and 0 stress for the bike and the rider. Want to get a Windscreen for the Zuma. can someone help me please. I don't want to spend on the Puig though ... Looking for alternatives before i plunge for the Puig(if i don't have a choice). Planning a Trip, Mumbai - Nathdwara(Rajasthan) - Mumbai between 23rd and 29th May 2015. need the windscreen before that. Want to avoid the hot air blast on my face .

I was just plain lucky ... you may want to keep looking for a deal on other touring sites too.

Puig is an international brand that manufactures windscreens for motorcycles. they have 2 Dealerships in India (Delhi and Mumbai). I checked with both, they don't have it for the Zuma. Alternatively, it is available on Aliexpress. The last time i checked the price, it was Rs.2003 and it was a short windscreen compatible also to the CBR. Now that makes me wonder if the CBR 250 Winscreen can fit on the Zuma.... Gonna visit Kurla this afternoon to check it out ... Hope i can get it cheap ... :P

There was an agreement between Suzuki and its Dealerships for the Test vehicle. the Dealers got the bike at almost half the market cost. they are holding on to it as they cannot sell the bike till it completes 18 months from the date of first registration. The Dealers are also speculating the return of the Inazuma in a Fully Fared avatar. you may wanna wait it out.

Yes .. I picked up a Herohonda Karizma windscreen ... Will have to customise the mounting brackets though.

I also checked out the Avenger Windscreen, realized that it was too Tall and will offer more resistance than Deflection to the wind
The Karizma on the other hand was just right and will have right angle too when mounted... Just have to figure out the mounting brackets though ... haven't had the time ... will work on it this Thursday. I know that a lot of us are looking for a windscreen... will keep you posted on the thread.

Hey Gyro_speed, Have you put a crash guard? Saw one on Puig, looks neat.

Few months back i had an accident, my bike fell on left side scratching/breaking the left indicator unit, scratching the engine casing and silencer, damaging the radiator, front mud guard, alloywheels etc then realized if there was a crash guard the damage could have been much lesser.

Entire repair costed me ~50k and a month long wait for parts to be imported from china/japan.

Thanks fire_blade, I am on the look out for that already .. I am looking for more options before I fix it .. The puig is available on aliexpress, but I feel it is a bit overpriced. Should be able to get it done before I leave on the 23rd..

The Zuma got its windscreen ... Was pretty easy to fit ... Just had to drill a hole at the right spot ... Buy a 2inch Allen nut.. 2 sets of distance tubes ... Done !!!

Could you pls post a head-on pic?
Also, did you remove the number plate mounting to put this on? Can't we use the same to hold the wind screen?

There is a small support you need to add beteen the windscreen and the odometer to ensure that the edge of the windscreen does not rattle against the brake fluid compartment on the handlebar ... Also this gives a lift to the windscreen for it to work a tad bit better ... I am also going to try out the cbr250 windscreen soon ..

Since the virbrations are minimal on the zuma, it worked beautifully .. Went for a 300km spin today ... Awesome !!!!!

It would immensely help if you put a photo from odometer side showing the support
