One thing I wanted to know was the hazard light module, does it add a separate switch on the handle bar or does the switch sit under the seat along with the module itself?

    Congrats!
On my friends 390, the hazard light module is plugged into accessory port of the ecu under the seat and to switch on the hazard lights, he has to use the regular indicator button in the lhs switch assembly in the following order: Left-right-click.
Pattern of blinking can be changed by accessing the module under the seat.

you just plug it to a connector under the rear seat, and use your indicators - right, left and off.. just one blink each side and you are set.. the lights keep glowing till you switch left or right..
I'm using it and it's very useful... especially for my folks to spot me in highway when we get split up..

            did a small photoshoot

p.s. latest model RCs are coming with an updated gear and brake lever, seems a bit more aesthetically designed and more strong with the ktm logo embossed on it. Happened to see a crashed bike of that lot, and from what the gear lever should have broken in the previous model, this one was just slightly bent, guess its a bit more strong the new one.

                2nd service update
Went to a different SVC this time, though it was far completely worth it.

                Total Cost 1960/-
Changed engine oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plug.
They quoted Rs.300 for chain lubing and cleaning so i asked them to not do that.
Had complained about high vibrations after first service and turns out i was right, vibrations are a lot less now. Engine feels smooth.

How much is your daily running? And how much of that is through open roads?
                    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Just a hunch - maybe low running is the reason, if not for loose connections! The battery isn't getting charged up enough to handle the discharge rate (simultaneously).

Got my bike, decided to call her toothless ( how to train your dragon)

                            A couple of questions-
                            1. Where do you guys leave your helmets? Pictures would really help.
                            2. What are your thoughts about an orange radiator glow, like a neon, has anyone done this?

Sorry for the late response, hope you solved the issue.

It may not be battery, have a close look. Even I had the same issue, I charged the battery and after two days the low battery warning popped up again. Took it to SVC and they changed the stator coil under warranty.

Do not use the bike with Low Battery warning, you might get stranded anywhere.

Quoting @s1d 's advice during my issue:
there is a proper method to check if its indeed the battery or the bikes electrical's at fault (alternator/stator coil or the RR unit). Any battery shop will check the voltage of not only the standalone battery but also the voltages at idle, and at around 5000rpm.if you want more info, a detailed explanation is given in the workshop manual.. google it and download.

Guys I am currently facing a problem in my brakes both front and rear. Both the brakes make a loud screeching sound on their slightest application, especially the front one is very very loud. It's really embarrassing and I hate it. The rear brake also makes considerable noise. I tried pressure washing the brakes, removing the brake pads and cleaning them completely and mounting them back but nothing seems to work. All of these were done by the mechanics at KTM aurthorised service centers and not by me. Any suggestions?
