I wanted to ask you about your exhaust sound, because mine has changed alot and I have just done 4800 kms. My bike doesn't have the roar anymore. So have asked the Svc ppl to change the exhaust. Wanted your knowledge also.

I am closing near 7K KMs, I haven't noticed any difference in exhaust note, I could say it got better! When on lower gear with higher RPM, everything on the road gives you way.

                    Definitely engineer...

We are talking about bar end weights for RC200 not bar end weights on bikes in general...

So on RC200 specifically, I don't think it makes any difference to vibrations.. I'm going to add grips now to cut down vibes..... Wish me all the best.
Yes i am an Automobile Engr. working at a firm famous for its Red colored cars all around the world. RC200 is a bike after all and using bar end weights MAY/MAY NOT give desired results , foamed hand grips can lower vibes to an extent but , basically its the high revving nature of bike that results in vibes.

But the point here is plonking in bar ends that were made for the apache on to a rc200 (which was designed without bar ends). So it's just like shooting darts in the dark.. and since ajay has used it am sure his opinion that it doesn't make a difference makes sense in this case.
me personally, have never felt the bar ends be of any use on any of the bikes i've ridden.. starting with the classic dbz which was one of the first ones to sport the bar ends in india. maybe i just like a little bit of buzz on the bars!
Correct ! , Its a shot in the dark by using bar weights which are not tuned for a particular bike , as i said it may or may not give specific result , may be it will make handle vibe free at top revs or no effect at all . Its more like hit and trial. Until you do solve some equations and calculate mass required for a particular frequency , it wont be of any use. I ride a 2011 CBZ xtreme and bar end weights are like the only thing i need . One instance left one was loose ( rather hanging to its last thread ) and i could feel immense vibes all across handle bar . Tightened it using a RTV sealant and vibe free handle from then .
Carb Tuning made easy (Thanks Sibun !)

Well I think the pics should be there to remind all of us about the risk of driving without gears and at high speeds in areas where they aren't supposed to be drivin that way.

But as per the request of our fellow bikers here i'll remove the pic

May the rider be forgived of his sins and rest in peace

Thanks for confirming this. Did you guys check the 2016 model changes for duke and rc? They have said that both the models will have DRLs and will not have switches for turning off the light. When I asked the story manager here in Chennai today, he could confirm only for the duke, can someone else confirm if the 2016 rcs Will have DRL as well? Also, he said that thy are increasing the diameter of the discussion brakes in the 2016 models.

                        Peace

No, it doesn't occur as much now but i think it might be because of the chain hitting chain cover
