A new RC 200 is welcomed in my family.
Feels great to be part of existing group of 200ns ,R15.
Costed 1.84 lakh on road delhi.
Switch gear quality is lower than yamaha ,riding stance is okay but the thrill in 5k rpm is amazing.

A new RC 200 is welcomed in my family.
Feels great to be part of existing group of 200ns ,R15.
Costed 1.84 lakh on road delhi.
Switch gear quality is lower than yamaha ,riding stance is okay but the thrill in 5k rpm is amazing.

Btw, let me know once you\'ve completed the run-in, cos I\'d wish to meet up at the dhaba and take a round on your RC200 (if that\'s ok) , since no service centers are offering a proper test ride of it.

@broken 87 brother ,I said in the family ,not my personal vehicle, I'm a Made in India fan esp pulsar .hehehe. you may find it unbelievable but difference between RC and Ns was not so much noticeable, as compared to difference between ns and cbr250 ,In terms of power, smoothness etc.
Will surely try to bring it at Dhaba ,once the new madness settles in.but Ns is my first love and will remain so till 600ns comes.

Sumit bhai i said in the family,not my personal ride,too early to bid ns a farewell ..Will surely try to bring it at dhaba once run in is completed(not by me ,im a maniac).Some pointers after 30km long ride from deewan bajaj to laxmi nagar.1. Headlight+ indicators ,MAN o MAN ,karol bagh trip is saved..!!2. Power is there at 5 k rpm,which comes in ns at 7.5k rpm ,in r15 at 9k rpm (for a sec ) and cbr i didnt remember.3. Plastic switch quality is equal to ns ,lower than yamaha,bajaj i see your cost cutting.4. Bike riding stance is relaxed than r15 ,but is somewhat weird ,i mean its neither too sporty nor to upfront ,while you ride ,your ass seems to be going off sideways.5. Grip is good,feels planted.6.UNCONTROLLABLE amount of attention on road,god knows what will happen in daylight.7. 200Ns owners if youre thinking to upgrade to RC,,STOP THERE..!! its not worth to spend almost 1.85 When you own a ns ,BUY RC 390 , the upgarde in power isnt that much to justify the 1RC200= 2 NS price tag.we (me and my cousin) are actually sort of regreting for not purchasing rc390 ,but rc200 is good for beginners ,however now that ive owned it for a while,i will prefer Cbr250 over Rc200 . Bajaj like qualities do get reflected in Rc200 be it plastic quality,gear shifts.8. Man i thought ktm bikes getting heated up is just a story,i was wrong ,with normal riding below 50kmph ,on open roads in single digit temp ,Wtf cooling fan kicked in for a min .it sounded kickass though,a aunty riding scooty was nervous to stand along at red light,she thought bike was gonna blow up soon.hehehe.9. Rc200 toolkit is actually useful ,unlike ns or r15 toolkit.10. Second key is hidden inside faring ,its like a tresure story..only rc owners will know..Overall ,if you have never owned a NS /cbr250 ,then RC200 is a mindblowing choice for you ,if you have ,then you will get bored after a couple of kms.so invest wisely in RC390 ,its a manaic on two wheels.And yes ,forget to mention ,front seat is rock solid and suprisingly ,rear seat is pretty comfy ,EVEN MORE SPACOIUS AND COMFY THAN R15 ,liked it.

The second spare key is stuck beneath the faring ( company) .
To get it ,you need to open front seat ,+ some nuts ,pull out a thread and get the key.we can remove it ourselves but then we won't be able to put them back.
So dealer said to get it while we go for service
And I'm going to leave xbhp forever if this bullseye continues, not able to read comments via xbhp connect,it just loads and then blanks out. I can only press option ,reply to thread .
Surfing via pc/laptop is like trying to push a truck.

Oh.. You can use tapatalk app till the xBhp Connect app is fixed & bug free.. I use it on mobile & it\'s great.. no need to leave xbhp permanently just coz of an application..

I got a spare key when taking delivery of the bike, does that mean I got three keys or did they remove the key from the fairing and are giving it to me on hand??

Hey guys even i am soon going to join the club!
Going to book my bike in a week. The only issue is that the dealer is telling the wait on RC 200 is 2.5 months!
Is there any way except paying more money of getting bike earlier than that??
Also has anyone of you applied those style stickers, if yes then please post pics of your ride!

is the waiting period varied state wise and if so pls tell the waiting period of all major states.

Is there any way except paying more money of getting bike earlier than that??

1. i doubt there would be any other way until and unless you have some major jack.
2. ktm power parts are still not available if i am correct and these stickers are part of that list i guess..

I just booked RC 200 a week ago and I cannot wait for it to come. 3 months seems such a long time.
How is the bike overall, in terms of maintenance and daily use??

@Ishaan.humble well, the standard is 3 months, so, 2.5 is not bad.. I don\\\'t think money will work, but local dealers right, so, not sure.
Powerparts stickers are not worth it. Go for custom one.. just my opinion.. but powerparts are made available on order basis only..


@nishad2s Congrats on booking your new RC200.. Please do post some pics of her.. 3 months will fly by.. don\\\'t worry.. overall, it takes some time to get used to. so don\\\'t sell like others in just a week or a month just coz you are not comfortable.. but once you are used to her, you are going to be the happiest guy.. trust me.. I came from a unicorn. Initially I had back pain, wrists etc. but now it\\\'s all solved. I did a 200 kms on one day.. had some pains.. but with that, my daily ride became a pleasure.. so no more pains. and I did a 400 kms trip and since then, 200 kms trips are a breeze.. so, it\\\'s just a matter of your body getting accustomed to her.. nothing else..
