Yes, KTM and Kawasaki has planned to hike the pricing of their products in India, I think I read it in MotorBeam.

Guys, a long pending query from my side. After 1st service I noticed white dried water spots all over my bike (tank, fairing, engine, etc.). I think the guys at service, spray some local spray as polish. This thing might have dried and the white spots appeared. It's been almost 1.5 months since service but still they are everywhere. I had washed the bike several times, tried different car shampoos, but no luck. Everytime I see that I get irritated. Is there a way to get rid of this ugly spots?

In my locality, I've seen 3 people purchasing rc and then 2 of them selling it off ,despite being a healthy person. I know you can do whatever you love for, but put simply, Rc is a bike you should get only when you have a duke or something like that "ridable" in your garage. Anything above 100kms per week on rc is plain joke to your physique, which will show up in long run.it looks, performs, delivers the best in class, but it is not a city/highway machine .it should be only used on track and people highly ignore this factor while purchasing the bike itself.
And yes ,in our garage ,my brother just rides his RC on Sunday for 50kms or so and uses dream yuga for rest of the week ,despite no constraints on petrol money or so.

I do agree with you that RC is not suitable for city ride. but its joke to just sell it(Should have bought it after a test drive looks totally noon following the Looks part of the bike other than what it offers) of that you cannot handle it due to long term physical problems that may arrive.

There are plenty of handle bar extension available in market and more will come which will make the ridding stance much better for city rides.

and you can just change them when you are going for a track ride.

So Guys Chill this a RC ownership thread and not a what bike thread .

lets just say that RS is a much fantastic machine an we have made a fool out of ourself by buying RC. and continue fooling around

There is no point in discussing power to weight ratio, KTM and Bajaj, Orange and Non Orange. Its a personal choice. if people are finding RS better go buy it, no need to debate it out here.

We will be hearing similar debates in RC390 thread when bajaj launches RS400

pour a cpl of drops of diesel on a cloth and clean one spot to see it cleans up. dont use too much diesel though.
then apply some decent polish (always follow the instructions on the bottle)

Even with a battery issue, the console would start up, probably the Engine Kill switch is loose or something.

                        Check battery terminals..

Try flipping the kill switch about a couple of times, if those fail, service center zindabad..

Take a closer look at all the fuses/battery again. Take a torch and see if any wires are cut around the tank/handle bar area.
tap the blunt side of a screwdriver over the kill switch a few times - if it works, have the switch replaced

Check your battery terminal lug, if it's loose, or the bend clamp is cracked, that's one. If your bike intermittently gets power, then the fuse aren't the issue, it's the battery terminals that are at issue. Fuses once cut, they temporarily disconnect power source to the required peripheral, until the fuses are replaced. Intermittent voltage, power on/off are tell tale signs of a loose/cracked battery terminal lugs. Do have a check on the battery terminals.

The above mentioned case works only if you have 100% black-out, i.e. how a bike would be when battery removed.

                              Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                              THE END
