I get it that not riding your bike for such a long time is really hard to deal with. But this is something new. Radiators break only in case of accidents and in a faired bike even accidents cant break it sometimes. So the dealer might have mever expected this type of breakage and therefore have never kept the part.

But even i do think that a dealer should always have atleast 1 set of every part so in case of situations like these the customer doesnt have to wait.

For side-stand, what you can try is ask the mech to disassemble the entire assembly, and locktite the 2 nut bolts holding side-stand in place. Should work.

The side stand in my bike has never loosened so it might be a problem in initial bikes.
Yeah, paddock is THE right way to do it, but if you dont have a paddock you can go ahead by using the car jack.

It had happened on my duke 200, and also on rc390 now. Both of the times, after tightening properly, it didnt bother me.

It looks really well without the fairing too!

Didn't get you. I think you meant the visor. Fairing is still in its place.

I lube my chain without a Paddock. But my next purchase would be a Paddock for sure.

I place the rear wheel at the most smoothly finished cemented place, which is at the entrance of my home (a tiled or mosaic floor would be better). I sit at the back of the rear tyre and keep a reference point at the tyre and slowly rotate the tyre, clean and lube for a specific length, once done I repeat the same until I reach the starting point. I use Motul chain cleaner and lube for my purpose and it works like a charm.

I bought a paddock stand from GA engineering. Got it for around 2500 Rs.

That's great! How is fit and finish. Even I have enquired with them a couple months before, but was skeptical with online purchase. Could you please tell me whether it placed on the swingarm and it is adjustable or a standard one?

So i finally got around to clean the chain myself! I used a car jack, and it worked like the bike was supposed to be used with one!
I bought motul chain cleaner and lube both and it cost me rs 980.
I hadn't cleaned my chain for more than 1700kms so it was pretty dirty.
After cleaning the bike ran very smoothly and the difference was noticeable.
Though if you choose to do it yourself, save yourself from buying the chain cleaner and go for just the lube. I searched the internet and most of the superbike/sportsbike owners use kerosene and a brush,as it is cheaper and works exactly as a chain cleaner.
                        Here are some pics-

Great! Finally you got into DIY. I really love to do most of my stuffs as DIY, it gives me complete peace of mind and an opportunity to learn from mistakes.

I think the placement of jack is not the right place, it's the exhaust chamber and I think placing the entire rear weight at that certain point is not good. Expert advise would be helpful.

I have seen somewhere in CBR 250R thread, someone has posted a similar DIY with a car jack. He has placed the jack at right side of swing arm and lifted the bike, to support the left side he has placed a couple wood pieces below the side stand to compensate the height. In this setup the weight is equally distributed. I will try and post the image here, so you'll get a better idea.

I have been using kerosene on my RX for years, trust me you'll never get this clean chain. But as you said its bit on the costlier side. In my case Motul Chain Cleaner is also very useful to evade red ants all around my house, trued everything only this stuff works LOL. NEVER use WD40 to clean O-Ring and X-Ring chains. It has the capability to remove the lube inside O&X-Ring.

Dedicatedly lube chain every 500kms, I clean my chain every 1000kms but lube it every 500kms. During rains I used to lube every 250 or 300 kms.

RC200's home First impression, Everything's ok about the bike except the rattling fiber parts, vibrations. Following soft run in method, so im not pushing it. Had totally redlined my friend's RC day b4 yesterday, it's power feels just the same as my 200NS, ofc just a tiny bit more plus the shorter gearing. The front end feel is just amazing, superb handling package. Perfect ergonomics for tall riders like me. and ofc the twin projectors ! In love with bike.
