Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
I generally ride hard and manage to get around 33-34. But if you do ride sanely you can manage 37-38 tooOriginally posted by dineshwheelz View PostHi, I am planning to buy RC200. Just wanted to know the fuel efficiency it returns as all the different websites are saying a different story.
I know it doesn't make sense to ask mileage of RC but being an Indian it would be a crime not to ask

Could anyone please help?

Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
Bro change the cable.if possible use one plus one data cable.I bet you will see the difference.the cable looks cheap one and it can't fast charge the mobileOriginally posted by Ajay Vishwanath View Post
Did a 100 kms trip... Well, it charges, but charges slow.. Cannot use GPS voice navigation + music via Bluetooth + bolt app on full brightness... The battery does drain.. However, if none of them are running and the screen is off and idle, it charges fast enough... Like 1% per 3 mins... Not bad... It SHOULD support music and charge atleast... Only more tests and trials will point it up..
One tip - be careful when "bolting" it to the handlebar... You have a good chance of bending and breaking the plastic clip..
My only fear - someone damaging the mobile pouch.. The adaptor comes off easy and I kept it with the side stand sensor bypass under the seat.. The dock is very small to notice...

Ajay Vishwanath did you check if fuel is leaking or vaporising from the cap.if you rip it or drive sanely and gives you same mileage then it might be evaporating or leaking.ideally if you shift at 5000 rpm it gives a good 38kmpl

. I don't think it's evaporating. Any other reasons ?
Thanks

did, not much of a difference, have to test more..Originally posted by xplod566 View PostBro change the cable.if possible use one plus one data cable.I bet you will see the difference.the cable looks cheap one and it can't fast charge the mobile
well, now that's new, provided with the fairing and all.. yeah, looks messy to me.. but the "low battery" warning isn't coming anymore..Originally posted by Naveen Vajja View PostOn a D390 it is fuse 4. Check the plug coming from the ignition coil to this and insert the positive in it.
vaporizing isn't the thing I think because when I did highway runs for 200+ KMs, she returned the about the same mileage,Originally posted by xplod566 View Post@Ajay Vishwanath did you check if fuel is leaking or vaporising from the cap.if you rip it or drive sanely and gives you same mileage then it might be evaporating or leaking.ideally if you shift at 5000 rpm it gives a good 38kmpl
My shift depends, sometimes at 5K, sometimes higher and rarely lower.. but mostly above 5K..
rip her, trust me, little ripping will give good mileage, shift 5K and above, you'll be fine.. ignore the noise/vibration/sound...Originally posted by Shahreyar Najeeb View PostI ain't getting 30 also. I dunno what's wrong with my bike

Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
My gears are starting to slip especially the 1st gear. The first gear engages, when I release clutch and start to move it doesn't and the gear indicator is blank on the speedo, I need to engage 1st again. This frequently happens when I halt for red light in Neutral and engage 1st when the signal opens. I suspect chain and clutch, recently the chain was adjusted.
Once at a good speed top gear slipped to 5th, luckily nothing happened, just the shift light was lit constantly, but this happened only once.Last edited by joe_marvy; 03-28-2016, 09:02 PM.

Same happens on my bike also. I haven't found any solution to it yet. But if you do please do let me know.Originally posted by joe_marvy View PostMy gears are starting to slip especially the 1st gear. I experienced this once or twice when shifting from 1 to 2 but not regularly.Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.
