Try searching amazon US for the product , the amount they show at the end is usually inclusive of all taxes. Prices on revzilla seems to be almost the same as we get here when we consider the shipping cost

No idea on the import duty, I believe some items if valued under a certain amount is certified as gift and original invoice citing the value of product being under the limit should get it through customs without any tax.Originally posted by jRay View Post

Sure will do, one more thing, is it easily peeled off after application? I don't want people to peel it off when the bike is parked somewhereOriginally posted by vishnu.leo View PostNo idea on the import duty, I believe some items if valued under a certain amount is certified as gift and original invoice citing the value of product being under the limit should get it through customs without any tax.

if its properly applied, it wont peel off easily unless you apply heat.Originally posted by jRay View PostSure will do, one more thing, is it easily peeled off after application? I don't want people to peel it off when the bike is parked somewhere
You need to leave it for 24 hours after applying it, to ensure maximum bonding.Just your friendly neighborhood panda. @thebigfatlazypanda

Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
you need to let the bike idle for a minute or two and shut it down, wait for 30 seconds and look at the oil sight glass with the bike upright (ask someone to hold it, and not on side or paddock stand). It should show close to the upper '-' mark (i.e. above the midway between the lower and upper '-') and on a cold engine it will be a little above the upper '-' mark.Originally posted by Kenny Pinto View PostHey guys can anyone upload a picture on how to check oil level on the rc200 . I gave mine for servicing just yesterday and I think the oil level is low. Not able to upload pictures.
always try to be around when the bike is being serviced and especially during oil change.. and make sure they refill ~1.4l during oil+filter change. that way you know for sure that new oil and the right quantity has gone in.

THAT my friend, IS the most important thing to do. Believe me, I asked for a new oil filter and they were reusing the old one and the mechanic hid the new one after taking from the spares. Cheap @$$h0les. Not all, but a good number of them are. So yeah.Originally posted by s1d View Post.

Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
Finally went for service yesterday, got the bike back today. Marathahalli KTM service is now move a KM further and it's quite big. No more pigeon cage. Bajaj separate bay, KTM and Kawasaki has a separate bay.
Explained about the issue with low oil pressure and also told him I have topped up with 100ml oil, from then the the warning stopped. However I wanted to have a piece of mind so replace, oil, oil filter and the O-Ring. Also, check with the diagnostic tool for any warning.
They checked everything, oil quantity was correct, oil was not burnt, oil could have been used further for more KMS. But the culprit seems to be the O-Ring. It was bulged to cut. Pictures below. Replaced O-Ring and checked oil pressure and it was holding good. He said in case this happens again please get the bike and leave it with us for two days, we may need to do an extensive analysis.
Is this good?

What O ring is this ?, I mean from which part of the engine?Originally posted by joe_marvy View PostThey checked everything, oil quantity was correct, oil was not burnt, oil could have been used further for more KMS. I thought the O ring on the oil filter housing cap was the same across the dukes/rc's i.e. a thin but larger dia O ring.

Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
Hi guys, my bike's handle was a little bend towards the right from day one. Like when i turn the handle i can clearly see the difference between the handle bar and the tank gap. The bike is almost 2 months now, so can i claim warranty on this? Please help.

Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
When I took the delivery i didn't notice that, but i checked everything else in the pdi. Actually it didn't occur me once that the handle could be bend. After reaching home only i noticed that. And since the service centre is 200 kms away so i couldn't go back and thought of changing that in the first service but they quoted 6000 for that. Since i was not sure if i can claim warranty on that i decided to not to. Now thinking what to do.Originally posted by Ajay Vishwanath View PostYou can try. Why didn't you point it out on day 1??
Ps: When i asked them during the first service, they said that I can't claim warranty for this. I didn't force them at the time because my clutch lever was bent as i had dropped the bike while parking and I knew that they would try to put the blame on me.Last edited by PULKRY0; 07-09-2016, 10:39 AM.
