To start with get the brake fluid bled and replaced, followed by a good scrub of the pads on sandpaper and clean the disc rotor with soapy water.
If that doesn't fix it, get the master cylinder and caliper serviced (ideally remove pistons clean and put back with new seals).

Whenever they are worn out. i.e. safe wear limit is 1mm of pad material left, anything lower is not recommended. Keep an eye and change them as needed.
Mine has covered 25k km and the rear is still on the one that came with the bike 2 years ago. The front would have ideally worn out at 20k km but they were replaced twice earlier due to a disc rotor change under warranty. It comes down to usage.. i've seen a couple of bike with totally worn out pads at 8k km.

I just replaced mine at about 29K kms.. (bonus : there is no more squealing from the front brake)

my rear is almost good as new - I guess I won't need to change it for life

            Hi,

My front Tyre is almost worn out so its time to change. Any new tyre in the market which is both pocket friendly and performs well?
How about the MRF REVFC1 ?

            Thanks in advance.:-)

            Cheers.

Hi Guys, I need your help in comparison of bikes between KTM RC 200 and Benelli TNT 25. Well I already booked the Benelli machine but thinking to cancel it as I have heard lot of issues from owners initial stage itself. So now I'm thinking of KTM RC 200 will this machine is better than Benelli. Based on your valuable suggestions i will take decision guys

A quick question, why are you choosing between a naked street and a fully faired super sport type. Is it due to price?

On topic, i would suggest you to go for a test drive. I own a duke 200, and I faced some issues but they are rare issues otherwise bike's so much fun and cheap to own.

Benelli is just too costly to maintain.

Well my pure intention to go for Benelli is its unique and brand. When I took test drive I was so impressed about this bike performance, without having proper research I went ahead paid the 25k as booking amount told by Benelli staff. After when I joined this forum after reading the entire conversations of this group I got to know so many issues about this bike.
When I took the test drive they told me that they are providing finance service as well from Yes bank @ 6℅ after paying the booking amount they are saying now its 12℅ which is too bad

And when comes to service part they didn't tell me that it is compulsory to do service for every 4 months in order to keep warranty in tact. After listening to all these bullshit I was like what the f..k. they provided all the false information till now, good that I got this group. I'm thankful to this forum seriously it helped me a lot in choosing the bike.

When comes to KTM RC 200 it's pure sporty. As I already had naked bike Yamaha FZS so wanted to go for KTM RC 200. But now finally I'm going for RE Electra 350

First of all, you just need to follow the service intervals given in the book, thats all and get it from authorised svc top keep the warranty. If you cancel booking just a sper sales guy, then my friend you wont be able to buy any product on this planet let alone a bike.

Do you understand all 3 bikes fall in different categories , and maintenance and "one name" in your choices doesnt go hand to hand. Anyways all the best

Has anyone tried upgrading their RC headlight bulbs?? Like to LEDs or HIDs??

I'm thinking of changing my stock bulbs to somthing better. I do alot of highway riding so wanted even brighter lights. Saw alot of Chinese LED conversion kits but was very skeptical due to the fact that the brands are pretty much unknown and unwarranted.
