Now I am much more comfortable. Coming to Gixxer SF, yes clip ons will definitely give it more sporty stance as compared to the relaxed riding stance offered by the current set up. My suggestion is to keep the stock set up unless:
    1. You want clip ons for looks as SF has sporty looks otherwise and clip ons will make it look sportier.
    or
    2. You wish to have a sporty stance in your ride rather than relaxed riding posture. There might be slight pain in wrists in the initial few days but that will be for a few days only and your body will adjust to the new riding posture.

YZF-R15 has more dedicated riding posture overall. The front of the bike is lower, seat is at an angle and footpegs are more rear set as compared to Gixxer SF. So a SF even with clip ons shall ideally be more comfortable as compared to R15.
Thanks!! I will continue with stock as of now..

I don't know why would someone give up such a well placed and sturdy handlebar for a clip-on.

frankly speaking the handle bar on the sf is much more better than a clip-on, it provides good stability and give you confidence to take on a turn. A clip-on will only help you stoop low on the bike and take on a drag; that's it. it will ruin the stability of the bike and be far more uncomfortable in the city.

But then its a personal decision i think, to trade in comfort for just a sporty look (which i think suzuki has done a marvelous job in and needs far less improvements).

Hello.. after around 2 weeks both mirrors are kind of loose from the main socket on the windshield. It's annoying while driving as with bumps setting gets changed and I don't get proper rear view.

                Any suggestions..?

Faced the same .. Tried to fix it for 2 3 times.. All in vein ..then I removed those and bought gixxer mirriors for rs.300 and put them on handle bar( slots are already there ) .. Now its a lot easy in traffic.. The Suzuki gsxs 1000f has mirrors on handle bar as well even though its fully faired

Yeah.. Intact I prefer this look.. The gixxer mirrors are actually small... Make sure you close the open threads in fairing so that water cannot enter and in case u want to put the old mirriors back in future for some reason..

I got them changed today...actually visited service center to fix the stock ones. But one person was already getting his stock mirrors fixed, and said he is visiting third time for the same issue. So I asked the service manager is this commonly reported problem.. and he said yes. So I decided to better switch them now instead of frequent visits later.

With the handle bar mirrors, I think it feels much better while driving.

How much did those High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) cost you?
Got it done from SVC or RTO?

Starting May 1, all new vehicles sold in India will be fitted with High Security Registration Plates (HSRP). The new law has raised a lot of curiosity and queries among motorists as to what really an HSRP is, how is it different from a regular registration plate and whether its benefits are really worth the amount spent? ZigWheels attempts to decode these and a lot of other pertinent questions
