Finally got to see the ABS version. Its ok if they took some more time. Atleast I'm happy to see that it will be few weeks rather than years.
If I remember correctly last ABS test mule was showed in 2016.

I mean - to see it in pictures/videos. I think this is somewhere in Kerela as the the video I saw was in Malayalam. Didn't understand much.

I had the opportunity to ride the UT over some 20km or so yesterday. Here's the ride perspective from an XT owner.

At standstill, the loss of weight is obvious. The loss of an entire endcan as well as the USDs make themselves felt immediately. The higher handlebar, thanks to the built-in risers, coupled with the lesser weight of the telescopic tubes and the smaller rake make it very easy to flick the bike around.

The roads we were traveling on were the patched up village type with random intermittent potholes. This meant plenty of flicking around. The UT is a major step up in the handling department. That 5 kilo heft of the headlight does not seem as bothersome in it as it does in the XT.

Bad roads with continuous undulations meant the suspension too got a serious workout. The telescopic forks provide a similar ride quality as the USDs. You glide over bad roads like you're on a magic sofa just like you do on the XT.

The stock Mojo sound without the dB Killers is too loud for my taste. It is also a terrible cop magnet. The UT without the dB Killers sounds just about right then. [emoji16][emoji16]

With the new Mojo having all the weight savings of the UT along with the FI engine from the XT, the package only gets better.

The inclusion of ABS has resulted ina lot of the bling being removed to keep costs in check. But the net result is a bike with much better road manners and daily drivability.

If I didn't already have an XT, I would definitely buy one.

Need to check the Rear Sprocket of the new bike , UT chain Sprocket have one teeth more than XT. If they are providing bigger sprocket on new model than the pick up of new MOJO will be better than existing XT model . new bike will be definitely fun to ride MOJO with all those changes.

Also, anyone knows the launch date of the abs model?

I am from Pune Mojotribe , many bikes have been delivered here though there is no any showroom from last 2 years. Test Ride and delivery is made available at your home.

My cousin had bought the Mojo from a closing dealership for a pretty good discount. He told me how he receives some service and ECI updates at home, that's pretty impressive since his location is away from big city.

Great. Do you know of any contact person whom I can reach out for the test ride/booking. I would love have a test ride of the new model when its available.

Buying will have to wait thought for couple of months.
