Hey mate, I dialed-up Bangalore showroom to check on timeline, vehicle will arrive over this week and needs to undergo local RTO formalities.

I live in NCR, showroom folks are clueless. Ignorance is bliss.

Bikes are already reaching few dealerships in some cities, as said only remaining is official launch and RTO process which must be end of this month for sure.

That sleeve in the front shocks !!...is the front telescopic the same as UT or is it more chunky for offroad ?

I just came back after visiting the same showroom. The same bike I saw. The only MOJO ABS in Bangalore. Only in Black available. Official Launch and TD after 2 weeks.
              Total On-Road : approx. 240000 +/- 5K.

Bike looks big and heavy. GC: 173.6 mm.

It is mix of XT & UT. One silencer pipe. Engine from XT. Seat and handle very comfortable for me. UT suspension (NO USD) . To change the headlight cost minimum 4.2 K and that will reduce 5 KG atleast and retro look.

I may not proceed forward as:

1: Still the bike feels heavy for me.
2: Out of my price range by 50 K.
              3: Service centers too few.
              4: No retro look.

Biggest reason for not choosing mojo is Dominar 400 !

2.4..ohh...gosh...screwed up pricing again !!!!given the steep discounts UT was going at...was expecting around the 2-2.2 range...after losing the USD and silencer...and the rosso tyres...still ??...have to rethink my purchase now

Mojo is a very good bike but pricing has killed it. IMO, there should be 2 variants, one having single channel abs and one having dual channel abs, with cheaper mrf tyres ,which will help to bring the cost down. I know, mojo has a separate fan base, but to survive in a competitive market they should think like one. Otherwise mojo will be extinct and we will loose a authentic modern tourer, unlike Dominar which is a streetbike underneath !

I really hope those are not the official prices at launch. I love the bike but its over priced by atleast 20-25k and I'll have to rethink my decision of buying it.

                        1. Yes MOJO is a big bike and is a bit heavy , but it all depends from which bike you are upgrading
2 Quality comes at a price. If you are looking for excellent quality products you have to shell outa bit more
                        3. Mojo isn't a bike that needs frequent SVC visits . i know few guys from North East for them the nearest SVC is 500 Kms but they are quite happy and never complaining
                        4. Beauty lies in the eye of beholder , those who are not happy with the looks are modifying it and its a quite mod friendly bike. If by Retro look you mean some vintage looking bikes there is JAWA which is also good.

Though I am no expert in 2 wheeler , but seems the new MOJO is of very good quality. But in INDIA for most quality is not the first point. @ 2.4 L donot think it will find many customer.

You are absolutely correct on each point. But for me as the first bike it seems bit too much to handle. I am NEVER saying anything negative on the product.
I have already booked JAWA and after back to back check found I am more inclined to JAWA.

Wow , congratulations for your JAWA . its a great machine coming from same stable . Booked SIngle Channel or Dual Channel Jawa ?

Mojo is targeting for specific customers only as its not a Mass Oriented bike

Hi guys my friend who owns a Mojo UT300 in Bangalore sent me this message from his WhatsApp group.

"Mojo ABS is finally here at Nafs motors!

Official launch is just a few days away. Pricing will be confirmed during the launch. Test rides will start soon after the RTO approval process.

Will now be the best of XT and UT
                                - Single exhaust
                                - Dual channel ABS
                                - Fuel injected
                                - Pirelli Angel CT tires
                                - Telescopic suspension with fork brace to give it good stability while braking hard or doing off road.
                                - Entire braking system is from Bybre with 320 mm disc in front and 240 mm on the rear, braking has improved significantly.
                                - Exhaust position is now slightly higher for better cornering clearance.
                                - Mojo will now be much lighter to handle mainly due to the revised rake angle that will make it really easy to maneuver in the city and change directions quickly.

In short this is the handling of UT and power of XT with now a bigger rear sprocket which should give slightly better initial pick up too."

So finally the best iteration of the Mojo platform comes to life. This shouldve been the variant from Day ONE! Those who want a long distance tourer with 500kms tank range, your mini Versys is finally here.

                                Cheers!
