1.Bike feels very good the punch i felt in lower and middle end is great,
2.The way it looks its a killer the stares i get from the people on road its awesome,
3.Seating posture is also good only i am getting used to the footrest position as i am used to my thunderbird,
4.Gearing is quite smooth in comparision with thunderbird which i have.

Negatives (which i felt in a day usage) -
1.Turning radius is huge atleast it is huge for me in comparision with thunderbird,
2.Brakes are spongy and lack the bite **hope the improve after they bead in**

This was just initial impressions will post a detail review after clocking in sufficient kms..

Hello Anway

You mentioned you have RE TB earlier So is Benelli is better choice after riding thunderbird. I think thunderbird is more comfortable . Currently i ride Bullet Electra so you think any person riding 350 CC bike can switch to 250 CC sports bike ? IS it correct decision .Please let me know.

Regards

Hi Puneet,

You are right Thunderbird is more comfortable but the maintenance woes i faced with the Royal Enfield forced me to change the bike within a year of ownership.
And even if Bullets have a 350 cc engine they tend to vibrate like very badly once you cross 60 Kmph speed and its very difficult to achieve high speed and regarding quality Royal Enfield needs higher quality control because in a year of my ownership in first 500 Kms my speedometer consoled stopped working which was replaced, then rear wheel bearing was changed at 1000 Km mark, oil started coming out of engine in smaller amounts, and finally clutch cable gave away and it broke right when i was waiting on signal and i have to push the beast for 4 kms which is a very tiring task and just one week prior to this incident i got bike serviced and when checked with the service center guys there reply was "its a common and known issue and clutch cable tend to broke in few 4 to 5K kms which is not an assuring thing when you spend close to 1.5 Lakhs for a 350 CC motorcycle. This all things lead to buying a new bike which i did and purchased Benelli Tnt 25. My decision to purchase Benelli was based on following factors - 1. Naked bike which is a boon to ride in city traffic and easy to park in cramped spaces, 2. Quality of the bike which we get, 3. Benelli's long racing heritage as they are making bikes more than a decade which can be seen and felt in their awesome performance bikes.

And regarding switching from Bullet to Benelli is a personal choice. If you want powerful but nimble bike which is of high quality and reliable Benelli is the answer and even if Tnt 25 is powered less in comparision to bullet but its not slow in performance it is sufficient for city usage and top speed of 146 Kmph can be achieved on it which we will hardly attend such speed in our regular usage and regarding acceleration its damn quick you should definitely take a test ride to experience the same.
I have almost crossed 1500 Kms on Tnt 25 for daily usage and can say that this bike has two personalities one is it can be ridden calmly in city limits and engine is quite relaxed and another is it can be ridden like maniac on higways the way it handles and attend high speed is commendable only issue at high speeds is of wind blast as it is a naked bike wind blast is terribly high.

No doubt riding a Royal Enfield is a different feeling and it cannot be compared with Benelli both of this falls in different category so its upon you what you choose.
Hope this helps you in case of any further questions you can contact me anytime..

Happy and Safe riding..
Adios...

(No offense to any Royal Enfield owners as above mentioned views are completely based on my experience which i had in past year with them)
Thanks,
Anway Kale.

Booked my bike around the 3rd Week of January but only got it delivered today, the 8th of March. They had state government permission issues with the vehicle.

Anyways, the bike is a dream to ride. It's very difficult to keep the revs below 5. Will keep updating as I ride
Congrats buddy! Enjoy your ride....

I guess what you wanted to say is "Benelli's long racing heritage as they are making bikes for more than a CENTURY" (Pura Passione dal 1911)

For anyone that might be interested on Benelli's history you can find more information:

Situation is the same in Mexico, accessories are not available yet (I guess it's because the bike was launched very recently here) but I would like to install the frame sliders. Do you know if I can use any "universal" ones in the meantime? (and if so what are the specifications)

Finally my Red beast arrived.
just one question. Does any one got the radiator noise during first days.
my radiator was making mild siren type of fan noise.
will share snaps n experince soon.

Yea, the bike's fan start on when the engine temperature reached three bars in the meter and in about 20-30 seconds switches off. This cycles until the engine heat is at three bars.

Also the engine has not got hotter than three bars, rarely it runs at two bars.

This is in reference to Chennai's hot and humid climate.

Just to add the noise was coming intermittently when riding, I did 30 kms from showroom to home. Also hot air was blown on my legs.
Hope everything is OK.

Thanks neelsalg, BiKeLovER, tmormax. I was a bit worried after first 10kms, thought of going back to showroom to check, but then decided to continue. After few more kms realised that it is fan noise & radiator working. Yes my heat bar fluctuates around 2-3-only vertically, did not go horizontal, which made me think everything should be OK. Finally reached home.
