Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
I was about to say that your fuel efficiency was very low since my TNT returns 29-30 kmpl (and my weight is 88 kgs, my height is 182cm and altitude in my city is 2.3 kms. above sea level so, as you can see, those specifications wouldn't favor the fuel consumption in theory) so honestly I'm VERY impressed with the economy of this motorcyle. But after looking other comments like this:Originally posted by tmormax View Post
Finally, fuel efficiency is what worries me at this point. It's about 20-21 Kmpl. I know this will improve over engine life, especially past 1000KM but I would like to know if it's similar to what you guys are getting or is it my driving style and driving conditions. To add details, my entire driving has been only in the city and it varied between mild - heavy traffic. Also I did have many bursts of acceleration from 20 to 70 kmph, Couldn't resist them you see.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Trust me fuel quality matters a lot, if issue shell very power 93-95 RON the machine feels different, but If I use normal petrol or speed 91 RON I can feel the difference.
Note : as per manual recommended fuel is 93 RONsigpic

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
With all the study you shouldn't be asking this question.Originally posted by joshipuneet9 View PostHello Guys
Is any issue TNT 25 so far . As for after searching for almost 6-7 months of deep study of bikes and with cost effectiveness i am choosing this one.. Please please give suggestion.
Cost effectiveness? This is a premium motorcycle in the quarter litre segment. I don't know if shelling out more than 3k for each service is effective for you.
Please go through the thread for feedbacks from the owners. AFAIK little vibes & brake feedback are the only issues apart from sky rocketing spares & service costs.Ride Safe!

I was checking the PDF manual that is issued in Mexico and you are correct: the recommended fuel is 93 RON. However, I have been using 87 RON since the beginning and the motorcycle works perfectly.
I'm not quite sure why Benelli recommends to use 93 RON since for bikes such as the R3 or FZ07 (which have more advanced and complex engines) Yamaha recommends to use 87 RON (I did the research since these bikes were among my options before buying this one).
Hahaha... Now, that's even more strange! I get better mileage using lower octane fuel!

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Today a bizarre incident happened. While commuting my right brake failed, as in the brake lever went loose n I could pull it back till the handlebar. Stopped sideby. Was a close call. On examining the brake caliper, I found a plastic bag stuck n entangled in the caliper. Removed it carefully and now the brake works fine. What could be done to avoid this as this could be dangerous 😓 and also caliper won't be harmed due to this right?

I don't think a plastic bag would have done damage to caliper anyhow

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Alcalo I understand your point when it comes to peace of mind. But disassembling a bike often would end up in loosening of bolts and cause rattling. Is that really necessary to disassemble these modern bikes for a first service? Btb what did they disassemble? What's there actually to disassemble?
The things you mentioned like air filter, battery terminals, brake pads are commonly checked by the SVC guys.Ride Safe!

Hahaha, ok I admit that my description sounded a bit exaggerated.Originally posted by sman999 View Post@Alcalo I understand your point when it comes to peace of mind. They just removed all the panels, the seats, disconnected the fuel lines and connections (for physically removing the tank), the spark plug, the brake calipers, the front mudguard, the oil filter cover and the air filter assembly. When they put the bike back together they made sure that everything had the proper torque and assembly (I noticed that a few minor noises that it had since new disappeared).
But what really added value to me is that now I know where are all the components and how to disassembly and put them back together again!
(That's why I was looking for manuals of other countries but I no longer need them)
I also realized that we have a pretty easy to mantain bike! (so it would be safe to do it by your self or instruct your trusted mechanic once the warranty expires). Additionally, I had the chance to see for myself the quality components of my bike!
The thing is that I'm very happy with the purchase! This is definitely the ultimate Street fighter motorcycle!
