Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience

[QUOTE=jbm_guy;1199334]yeah bro, wrong comparison. I can't take up that fact. Iphones, apart from finish levels and uniqueness nothing fancy about Apple gadgets.

But your intention to compare KTM Vs TNT is appreciated and I too vote for the same...KTM 390 is for insane power and the compromise for getting that much power will be huge....

Whether the compromise is huge or not, only time can tell. Let us not jump the gun before getting to know the long term ownership experience of tnt25. It would be sensible to compare ktm d200 with tnt250 rather than 390.

Typical old racer - you wobble when you walk, not when you ride

That was the biggest disappointment when going through media reviews. Even mojo was pointed too.

Hope to listen from owners about this.

True, anyhow need to check with svc guys if they can fix it or need after market break pads.

At times I am scared when I do not receive expected stopping power, I need to downshift quickly and there I understand the need of slipper clutch

So share if you find a good solution. Also tn25 being a single cylinder , does it vibrate much?

Vibrations are also there, to get the feel good factor of the bike you have to ride it

Experts mention, the Vibration will reduce overtime with servicing & usage. TNT 300 users also mentioned vibrations to reduce overtime after 1-2 servicing.
Now I am confused between red or white colour, both look gorgeous . The bookings have stopped as factory is relocating. It will commence from 22nd Jan.
I have already purchased Jacket, Helmet & Gloves. Now just waiting for Italian Beauty to arrive.

I enquired at Mumbai showroom, where no saree guard option was available. How about you?. Also did you get leg-guard fitted, the ones which are plain rods from Benelli.

My Bike came with Saree guard....

Color : I was in the same dilemma, white looked good but finally went for RED because that looks good on road trust me .

I will be installing the 4K leg guard on first service that really gives a sporty character to the bike.

on first service planning the benellie Logo on the handle bar, cover for Break reservoir and leg guard total cost is around 6K.

If i find a exhaust in workshop around 20K which sounds good will go for that as well.

                Update on my RIDE :

As i am getting used to the bike straight sitting posture after using RC200, i am finding it really easy to manure around the traffic with ease .

The exhaust note is increasing and i can feel it to my ear, even my brother said he can feel the difference from the day we bought it.

Only disappointment is brakes I hope they service center guys help me out. waiting badly for first service as i am unable to open it above 5K RPM as per manual..

Thanks for your update, I will also go for red most probably.
Keep us informed on your accessories addition when you happen to do it.
I heard someone also mentioning that brakes will improve on usage, though not sure. Hope for best, but I am sure benelli will sort it out soon during servicing.
I will book over the weekend once booking opens.
I went to Honda for CBR250R, sales guys are rude mentioned no test ride available. I was shocked. Same story at Bajaj for PulsarAS200, sales person said try on friends bike no test ride from us. May be time to show these guys that other options are available now...

                      Welcome Benelli.

5000 RPM is the limit till first service? or first few kms?. Also what is max speed approx you can achieve on 5000rpm?
