Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience

Time for some photos and first impressions of my Italian beast aka Godfather..

Initial Impressions (one day usage) * please note that the impressions i am stating is in comparision with thunderbird 350 which i am riding till date and these are my personal views no offence to anyone" -
1.Bike feels very good the punch i felt in lower and middle end is great,
2.The way it looks its a killer the stares i get from the people on road its awesome,
3.Seating posture is also good only i am getting used to the footrest position as i am used to my thunderbird,
4.Gearing is quite smooth in comparision with thunderbird which i have.

Negatives (which i felt in a day usage) -
1.Turning radius is huge atleast it is huge for me in comparision with thunderbird,
2.Brakes are spongy and lack the bite **hope the improve after they bead in**

This was just initial impressions will post a detail review after clocking in sufficient kms..
            Attached Files
            Thanks,
            Anway Kale.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience

Hi Bikelover thanks for the update can you also post pictures of tank job you did from 3M and i was having two queries that did you have any information regarding recomended tyre pressure? I gone through manual and found that it's 41 ps and it sound really very high. Can you please confirm how much tyre pressure you maintain? And one more query is that while riding the bike i can hear sound like whoshhh (i think its coming bcoz of chain rubbing but not sure) at the speed of 30 kmph and the sound is only can be heard in quiet environment did you notice such sound in your bike?
                Thanks,
                Anway Kale.

Red color is just awesome, the digital console is pretty neat and readable.

There is some weird noise coming from engine today, its more of whistle sound coming when the engine is idle.
Will call SVC tomorrow morning to check if that is normal.

Wrap : i have done it yet, did no get time.....

What is the air pressure you maintain for tyres? In manual it is given 41 ps which seems to high

Ideally follow Manual guidelines. If it says 41, fill upto 41. This will put less stress on engine & return better fuel economy.

Now looking at the your photos, I am desperate for my delivery. Still long wait for me to get that baby under me.
The bike just spells WOW everywhere!

Thought so , as cannot fell it today,

I was worried because after first service i was revving the engine hard below 7k RPM,

Anyways the break up for Service as below.

                                ENGINE OIL : 623
                                FIRST SERVICE FREE : 0
                                CHAIN LUBE : 560
                                CHAIN CLEANER : 550
                                VAT : 201
                                TOTAL :1812

Now one time chain cleaning was 350, instead bought both the cans above and they used the same for cleaning,
Now i have both lube/cleaner to clean after 500 KM.

I am still waiting for putting the pic of gift i got from DSK.

Will put it tomorrow morning probably.

Oops Missed it, 41 is recommended but you will be dancing/bouncing over the potholes with that pressure, keep it around 37-38.

                                Cheers....
