Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
For a moment thought that they charged you a hefty 560 & 550 for lubing and cleaning the chain for which you could have actually bought 2 sets of each can.Originally posted by BiKeLovER View Post

Lol !!!
The Brand is DSK itself, If I would have done 350 chain cleaning there and again bought motul from outside it would have costed me the same,
so went with what they use, secondly the cans are bigger than motul ones.sigpic

but for the same thing KTM wakdewadi, Pune was charging 200 Bucks.
I wanted to check it for the first time, anyways i am good for next few thousands KM now for chain lubing
And trust me this bikes need it badly, as for my RC i saw Rust forming as i ignored it for the first time.sigpic

I agree with you BikeLovER, getting it done from DSK guys is always better as they are the professional's for benelli currently & we do not want to spare quality over a mere 100-200 bucks for a 2L bike.
Atleast till the bike is new and in warranty period spending more from DSK guys is advisable even if they charge a bomb.. Thats all premuim-ness is all about.
Also how much engine oil is required as you mentioned 623/-, so was curious..Last edited by GTDOM; 02-01-2016, 07:33 PM.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
A motul can last you close to 20 sprays . He mentioned the DSK cans to be bigger. They might last him longer. Motul, when used right can give you a cost of 50rs per lube and cleaning . This might be more efficient!Originally posted by Danej View PostCertainly getting it done from experts is best. Still the amount is exorbitant
good decision to buy the cans. So how many times can the cans be used?

, as cannot fell it today,
I was worried because after first service i was revving the engine hard below 7k RPM,
Anyways the break up for Service as below.
ENGINE OIL : 623
FIRST SERVICE FREE : 0
CHAIN LUBE : 560
CHAIN CLEANER : 550
VAT : 201
TOTAL :1812
Now one time chain cleaning was 350, instead bought both the cans above and they used the same for cleaning,
Now i have both lube/cleaner to clean after 500 KM.
I am still waiting for putting the pic of gift i got from DSK.
Will put it tomorrow morning probably.

Oops Missed it, 41 is recommended but you will be dancing/bouncing over the potholes with that pressure, keep it around 37-38.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
You do mention only about the size of the cans and number of sprays it comes. How about adjusting the chain itself, does anyone have a torque wrench or any other tool to adjust it.Originally posted by ROHAN SPEEDOFREAK SHARMA View PostA motul can last you close to 20 sprays . Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Chain don't need adjusting every 500kms. The 300 thread shows many chain set failure(probably due to less maintainance i guess) it cost a bomb to replace. The motul can should be used every 500 kms or thrice a week if you dont use it or maybe about once a month if you dont use it and have covered it well also if you keep the speeds and load linear like single person, 80-100kmph or 2 persons ,60-80kmph . The setting will probably stay good for longer duration. Chain is a critical part of benelli, i request all of you to lube it properly.Originally posted by TheArcher84 View PostYou do mention only about the size of the cans and number of sprays it comes.
