I agree with you Rohan , My gear box was butter smooth until i did a downshift at high speed for engine braking... The downshift was really painful from then on.. To fix it , i sprayed WD-40 in the Gear lever connection assy , and it did the job of freeing it.. now the gear is smoother than ever before..

I got myself one when i rode my rtr 180. Your bike maybe only 250 but still it can go 150. And falling at that speed or even above 80 is not a good scenario. Yes, its an expensive affair for a regular person but for what its worth its really worth it. May god be thier and may you never fall for the life of your jacket but god forbid if you do , that 5000 bucks can save a lot of bed time, pain , medical expense and that really makes up for the price.

Hi, also do check in local market many good options are available which are reasonable than Benelli jackets. You can get a good jacket in price range of 4k to 6k. Benelli jackets are priced quite hight plus they dont have much variety. Instead look for a biking gear store locally you can get quite good variety.
          Thanks,
          Anway Kale.

safety is noting to do with showing off. if some people thinks that you are showing off, then its their foolishness. Dont care about those people. After all, In India even 250 cc bikes are considered as performance bikes .

Weekend ride to Tamhini Ghat, Pune.
                  P. S : The back gets spray painted by mud in rain because of the absence of tyre hugger. I think DSK Benelli should have provided one like the KTM's.

Nice one.. Ya agree muck gets sprayed due to absence of tyre hugger. Thats the reason my bike now a days is just parked at home.
                    Thanks,

Not at all a problem for me. The brakes are not urgent like the ones on ktm so the wheel doesn't tend to lock. Was confident enough to cross 100kmph mark in the ghats even in heavy rains.

Yesterday in Tindivanam Pondicherry road reached 136 km/hr. Felt like the front tyre was wobbling. But a cruise speed of 105 km/hr I was able to maintain without any issues.

Check for the tyre pressure, and when speeding over 110kmph+ duck down and distribute your weight equally in front and back so as to maintain stability of the bike. Cheers!
