Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
If your gears are coming out smooth, you are probably safe. Its for those who face some roughness or not so smooth gear shifts. Remember i told you guys about not dropping gears at above 50 . Take care for that , also in any condition use clutch for the shifts. And thats all i guess.Originally posted by anwaykale View PostYes buddy sure. Mine is 100% December
, cause i took deliver on 1st week of jan.
My Gear box is butter smooth(Other than when i changed the lever the clutch was re adjusted was facing issue downshifting from 2nd to 1st)
I even do half clutch shift and they are butter smooth, never faced any issue other than the one mentioned for gearbox, but that was also fix by adjusting the clutch.sigpic

Benefit of staying in pune is that the place were we service our bikes is head quarters and Benelli India R&D Center as well.
So it the parts availability is quick, and if not with them it will be months not 25 days
as they have to out source it from CHINA.

How did you arrive at a conclusion where your bike had a problem so all december bikes will have problem?Originally posted by ROHAN SPEEDOFREAK SHARMA View Post25 days is the time to get things from china other wise from pune they get it within a week or so. Yes , it is a machine but a new machine hardly used should not go down and then take soo much time to get back online!

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Firstly they told me that a teeth of a gear is broken which can happen by fatigue ( i know what that is being an engineer) so i got that point, next they say that they will change 13 parts inside the engine . 13 parts doesn't sound like the teeth caused utter destructiong in thier. What i guess is thier was also some other issue. Now multiple parts can't fail at the same time, if they are then the batch of the parts may have problem. I never did clutchless shift, when my gearbox handeled maximum stress it was only when i did those gear drops so what i am thinking is that those drops acctually made the "not so good " gear throw its teeth out . Hence just warning fellows to just be aware as its been many days and its still time to get my bike and being a college going flat living person that has done some serious damage to my pocket and also my schedule so just BEWARE!Originally posted by GTDOM View PostHow did you arrive at a conclusion where your bike had a problem so all december bikes will have problem?

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
For your info, nothing has changed since the bike is launched, same parts, same accessories( though different batches), only assembled in India. Unfortunate that your bike has developed problem. But It was told to me that you will never be able to make out manufacturing date of bike parts. Its only the assembled date that will be available. Most probably your bike had some problem in assembly line.Originally posted by ROHAN SPEEDOFREAK SHARMA View PostFirstly they told me that a teeth of a gear is broken which can happen by fatigue ( i know what that is being an engineer) so i got that point, next they say that they will change 13 parts inside the engine . 13 parts doesn't sound like the teeth caused utter destruction in thier. But its good to know, so that we can be careful & check for similar faults if there in our bikes during servicing.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Thats what i am trying to say parts come in batches what if a batch is affected? In engine you cant place a part wrong it wont work. I ran the bike 1600kms and even did 143 , 2 weeks prior to its fault. It wouldnt have survived that , but it did. If you ask me thier is a minute change of assembly line problem and more so in the parts quality.Originally posted by GTDOM View PostFor your info, nothing has changed since the bike is launched, same parts, same accessories( though different batches), only assembled in India. Jackets are meant to protect you. Off course it makes sense to wear a jacket even you're riding Luna.Originally posted by Chennai Karthick View PostBros, I have a silly doubt. Will it be showing off too much for wearing a bike jacket and riding a 250 CC bike? Your thoughts pls...
