Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Actually, I was asking a genuine question. None of my friends or acquaintances have a benelli, so I am wondering what makes a guy go for benelli? Is it the sound only? Or the riding experience?Originally posted by PrinceCruise View PostLOL, don't rub salt on his wounds bro!

Ah, my bad. Well I always had the same question.Originally posted by leech View PostActually, I was asking a genuine question. None of my friends or acquaintances have a benelli, so I am wondering what makes a guy go for benelli? Is it the sound only? Or the riding experience?
There's no TNT 3 like sound in here, plus at at one point of time some parts of T25 were costlier than T3 for God knows what reason, so I guess this question makes sense.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
I for example buyed Benelli because of Keeway. I had a Keeway for few years, i made over 35.000kms on it, without major problems.
The Benelli is from the same QJ Group as Keeway, and its better of quality.
Besides, i love Italy, the people, the food, the music, the views, and the style of their bikes.
And for the price i could buy a unknow in Europe Bajaj Pulsar.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
There's no sound factor in TNT 25, unlike TNT 3 which primarily got sold just due to the sound alone.Originally posted by drive_angry View PostI guess in India it’s mainly because of sound but if you think about it why does one buy a liter class bike in India? Only to tail gate an auto rickshaw.. right? [emoji5][emoji13]

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Been away for a long time...completed 12000+ kms and my El Torro is raring to run longer. In this journey had to change Rear suspension under warranty and Front fork oil seal (under 3000/-). Last week post service had a hiccup, gear shifter broke as it was not tightened post servicing. Called RSA and had the repair done free of cost. Overall happy with my bike which till today in the world of SBK's is still a head turner.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Hi all, so got my bike on Feb 2nd 2018 booked way back in December 22nd 17.... The delivery was good however the delivery was really delayed,
The riding etc is nice. I am a heavy set guy 6.2 ft and bike feels great to ride, I use it 50km a day as a office commute, clock a good 80 kmph on the NH48( earlier know as Nh8) I live in gurgaon, bike returns a good 33 kmpl and has clocked 3500 km as on date.
Now coming to the issues
The gurgaon service center is not up and running and I have to travel 60km one way to moti nagar for the service,
Problem faced are coolant leak before 1k km.. fixed during first service,
Break fluid leak from rear break resevoir.
Also the customer service is horrible. It took them 3 months to get my registration number, had to follow up with them 28 times ( I am not joking), check with them for the AMC, just not interested to sell it, the main Benelli e mail I'd just puts u on to the Delhi Benelli who r not good at this.
Also wanted to know if any one knows of a service center in gurgaon who can service a benellitnt25, I don't feel I want to go to the Benelli service center any more. As they won't honour the warranty considering it took them 2 months to get me the bike, 3 months to get me my number, no sign of my number plate.
Also 4k service interval is a joke
Will b going for my first paid service. Let's c how much that costs

ExactlyOriginally posted by Beniamin_Mucha View PostSounds like a whistle?
Over 6500/7000rpm the engine sounds normal?
If yes i have it too, do not worry about.
Is in my opinion resonance from the engine.
Over 6500 and under 6500 every thing is normal
Just the noise is annoying
Is there any way to find out more?
How can we fix?

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing well. I just have crossed 18,000 KMs on the ODO. So far so good. Spare replacements/problems I faced so far is as follows:- Front disc pad changed @ 15,523 KMs
- Front brake oil seal was leaking and changed @ around 15,000 KMs
- Changed chain and sprockets @ 17,900 KMs
- Changed the rear tyre @ 6500 KMs, due to I ran over something sharp (probably broken beer bottle) and the tyre immediately got a 6-inch cut. Fitted Michelin Pilot Street, and I am super happy.
Apart from these, I didn't face anything major yet. I am enjoying the ride a lot. Only complain I have is few spares are too costly, and the 4000 KMs short service intervals.
Thanks,
Jo

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Well, it is not the sound only. There is enough juice, that one can buy a TNT25. There are few reasons, I bought:Originally posted by leech View PostActually, I was asking a genuine question. None of my friends or acquaintances have a benelli, so I am wondering what makes a guy go for benelli? Is it the sound only? Or the riding experience?
- I wanted a commuter that is more powerful than regular commuters (125 / 150 cc bikes). So I had 3 options in hand i.e. Honda CBR 250, Duke 250, TNT25.
- Honda CBR 250 was my primary choice due to lower maintenance than a TNT 25. For my regular travel to and from my office is total 50 KMs and that too in a hefty traffic jam. There is only about 4-5 KMs road that is with light traffic. I have a regular pillion, my wife. In such a situation, it is tough to handle a full faired motorcycle. Also, the rear seat of TNT25 is more comfortable than that of CBR due to low height.
- Duke is not as comfortable as TNT25 in terms of seating position. Also, I personally don't like how the Duke looks.
- Now coming to Benelli. TNT25 offers good comfortable seating, yet slightly aggressive stance with the rear set foot pegs. It feels like a big bike while seated. Also the bike looks awesome without any doubt. This bike is rock stable at a speed of 135KPH too (as I have experienced). Build quality is awesome. Braking is decent. Acceleration and overall performance is very good too (Initial acceleration is lower than Duke though). I have done Kolkata to Vizag (~900KMs) in a single day and returned 2 days later, that also in a single day. Not a single problem faced. What else do I need from a daily commuter and occasional tourer?
- The drawbacks are some expensive spare parts, and above all the short service interval. I can live with it if the bike is reliable. And I got things good till date.Last edited by Soumalya Banerjee; 05-10-2018, 08:03 PM.Thanks,
