Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Benelli is Bankrupt?
In a sudden and surprising update, an Italian court has declared Benelli as a bankrupt company. This issue has cropped up since Benelli failed to make a payment of 1,20,00 Euros to WP Suspension for procuring products for their bikes.
Benelli is owned & backed by the Chinese group Qianjiang. The Chinese counterpart has been quick to respond that this bankruptcy news is incorrect. It is being reported that Benelli has a healthy funding reserve of 1 million Euros.
But then, this makes things suspicious as to why WP Suspension was not paid on time.
Benelli reported a loss of 8,00,000 Euros in 2014 and 5.7 million Euro loss in 2015. However, the brand is going all out to promote new products as seen at the EICMA show last year and at the Auto Expo in India earlier this year.
DSK Motowheels is responsible to bring the Benelli to India and takes care of retail sales & service for the Italian brand. No update is available from the Indian counterpart if this news would affect operations in any way. There should be more clarity on this topic in the coming weeks.

I seriously hope all this is blown out of proportion and Benelli keeps the good work going, they have made powerful bikes affordable for us here in India, and forced most of the other manufacturers to cut corners on their profit margin and bring down the prices of their product. The Honda Family - Brio S( O ) MT, CB Unicorn

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Gave the bike for second service...
Issues before service..
1. First and second gear was tight. Gear getting engaged roughly.
2. Slight bend in the handle bar.
After service.
1. Gear shift have become smooth.
2. Chain slack perfect.
3. Vibrations reduced
4. Frame slider fixed.
5. Handle bar bend corrected. Though for perfect correction I have to replace.
Service cost split up as follows
1. Engine Oil : 878
2. Oil Filter : 236
3. Frame Slider : 5106 + 200
4. Consumables : 1000
5. Labour Charges : 1500
Total : 8920 + Service tax for 2700 @15%
G.Total : 9325
Checked for Tank pad stickers but out of stock.. decals were available, but was not interested..
Overall bike has become smooth. Planning for a Valparai Trip coming Independence day weekend...

You mean you didn't have a unique identity before buying a Benelli?😂Originally posted by asterfoods View PostAttention grabber where ever we go...benelli giving a unique identity to every owners
It doesn't matter what bike we have. What matters is what we do with it.
