Just pulling your leg... of course Benelli is unique. I particularly like the rear of the 300.

Too much attention is a pain though. Kids and selfie posers are a pain to deal with.

Change the brake lines to steel braided ones and look for better quality brake pads if there are any in the same size and dimension.

                    Hey all,

I might end up buying this beast over the weekend. Some quick feedback from owners would be great.

                    1. Is service cost really that high? approx 4k per 4m=12k/yr
I mean the sales executive explained me that I will have to service my vehicle each and every 4months or 4000kms.

                    2. What is the engine oil capacity? Fully synthetic cahnge interval 4k kms normal?

                    3. Does the brake bite increase or does it still feel spongy after few months of usage?

                    4. Premium fuel any necessary or it runs fine with normal petrol. Any knocking when revving the engine on normal petrol?

                    5. Any major brakedown? (If not, touchwood for that)

Your answers would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Believe me, I was one of those who was rooting for this brand in particular the 600i, but took a decision not to go for after coming to know about the huge pricing in servicing as well as the lesser duration in service intervals, i.e., every 4 months or 4k KMS, instead I bought a Kwacker, an ER-6n to be precise, and even with a higher displacement compared to the 300 or the 250, the cost of servicing is very less, even though the first service came to around 4k+, but that was because at first service they change the engine oil as well as oil filter, which will be only changed again in the 3rd service, which itself comes to around 2k+ and hence I can expect the 2nd service to cost anywhere between 2 to 2.5k for sure and also the service intervals are every 6 months or 6k KMS.

Regarding premium fuel, I don't think its needed for any of these bikes, the 250, 300 or the 600i as they all run on normal fuel itself, but one can prefer to use premium fuel if that is the choice they want to opt to, no harm in that I guess.

The rest of your doubts, I guess the people owning the bike can shed some light on it though...

                        Please see details below.

                        1. Yes it is high. Around 4k after first service. And not expected for 250 cc bike.

                        2. I don't understand this with benellie they use fully synthetic but still change it after 4k km.

                        3. You get use to it. Break bite I can say is improved but it more of getting use to it than any change.

                        4. I use shell and I can feel the difference. So recommended

                        5. Major issue is bike fuel pump was choked not sure why was replaced under warranty.

I have been riding the bike for 6k KM now let me know if you need any more details.

Thank you Kanth for such quick response.

I wish I had that kind of dough for ER-6n. But still Congratulations on your beauty
Even I was thinking how can they start charging such lump some with interval of 4 months, when checked with Harley and kawasaki owners even in such harsh conditions like our country the service interval is atleast 6months. Still have to clarify things with Benelli service manager.

Will get back with some information once I get to meet the regional service head of Benelli.

Yes, service charges are literally sky rocketing.
Lastly I checked mineral oils lasts 4k kms whereas fully synth lasts for around 8k kms. The worst part of this strategy by benelli is that if any service interval is skipped twice then they void your warranty.

BiKeLovER Thank you for your prompt reply.
Did benelli give any explanation for the fuel pump choking issue? What was the symptoms of fuel pump choking? (Like the bike starts choking when there is no fuel?) .
If possible can you let me know how the bike's build, service and ride quality when compared to the price which we are paying for the bike.
Does this bike attracts lots of attention in day to day life?
Also the pros and cons if any. It might be too much to ask for, but hey if possible please do help me.

Wishing you loads of happiness with your bike.

No doubt, I had a benelli 300 for a month and half, came back once to where it was parked to find it dropped, some stupid idiot must have tried something with it and just left it fallen. Shelled out 4.7k for repairs. I have an RC 390, first week itself came back to a bent number plate and scratch on fairing sticker. Practically heartbreaking on a new bike. Luckily no problems again after that in 10 months of ownership. Too much attention is a bad thing, some people are really petty minded

I've been searching for duplicate brake pads but I don't think its available at the markets ryt now ...unlike other bikes, benelli use their own brake callipers which has different design compared to the bybre , brembo callipers..so chances of getting aftermarket brake pads are less
