I only have need for a rack/carrier at the back.

Just want to warn you not to install a baggage rack fixed with only 4 bolts on the pillion handlebar brackets.
One of our Ukrainian Dominar owners made this and after 1300 kms of riding with 3 kg topbox his tail frame got almost completely destroyed (see the attached picture).
If you want to install the baggage system then you need to envisage at least two additional pivots under the tail frame, for example, at the passenger footpegs. This will distribute the load force between all the pivots and preserve the pillion handlebars brackets from cracks.

SOME QUARANTINE TIPS FOR YOUR DOMINAR

1. CLEAN YOUR BIKE EVERY DAY IF POSSIBLE COVER IF IT IS PARKED OUTSIDE

2. START YOUR MACHINE EVERY ALTERNATE DAY

3. BEFORE STARTING SIT ON THE BIKE HOLD IT IN 90 DEGREE POSITION AS ON CENTRE STAND FOR A MIMUTE OR HALF IT WILL LEVEL THE OIL ACROSS THE ENGINE AS WE ALL KNOW DOMINAR HAS SIDE STAND ONLY

4. START AND KEEP IT IDLE FOR A MIN.

5. AFTER WARM UP PRESS THE CLUTH FEW TIMES AS IT HELPS THE OIL TO GO THROUGH ALL THE WET PLATES. (MAKE IT DAILY HABBIT IMPROVES CLUTCH LIFE AND REDUCES THAT THUD OR JERK NOISE ON THE VERY FIRST GEAR IN MORNING).

6. REVV. THE ENGINE LIGHTLY NOT MORE THAN 3K TO 4K RPM FEW TIMES AS IT IMPROVES OIL PRESSURE AND HELPS TO CIRCULATE OIL THROUGHOUT THE ENGINE.

7. IF POSSIBLE RIDE 5 TO 8 METRES TO AVOID FLAT SPOTS ON TIRES.

8. AND DO CHECK THE PRESENCE OF RODENTS LIKE RATS AND SQUIRRELS AROUND YOUR BIKE KEEP THE AREA AROUND YOUR BIKE NEAT AND CLEAN AS THEY ARE ATTRACTED TOWARDS FOOD AND LEFTOVERS.

9. PARK IN SAFE AND SHADED AREA

Has anyone switched to EBC pads for the rear brakes ?
Is there substantial or marginal difference ?

Yeah dukes are smoother than dominar...... May due to some technical difference in their engines.

Had the Duke 390 earlier..but the vibrations were never bothersome for me.One of the reviewers say it may be since it's higher frequency.Like the bullet literally is horrible,Dominar is in between and the Duke had it at a much higher frequency.It did not cause any issues with cruising.

Planning to install bar risers next.Opinions about which brand is best.I have seen ones by lluvia.But feel it's costly at 1k inr.

Go to a place where they do Automobile painting and ask their opinion. Moreover ask this question on various kawasaki threads, ninja comes in the same shade and people there must have gotten rid of scratches.

Let the bike few run hundred kms vibrations will fade away with time especially after 2k kms .Which was your earlier bike? Bigger bikes especially single cylinder does create vibrations.

Took delivery of the bs6 dominar 400 yesterday. Guys ,how do you tackle the vibrations at or below 4k rpm.Plenty I feel on the tank sides,followed by pillion region(was highly uncomfortable for the pillion) .
One way seems to change over to motul FS oil.
The same bike before PDI had noticebly lesser vibrations, especially for the pillion,hence why we chose it.Suggestions please.

Check with the service center and let them know the issue. Tank vibrations are not an issue in newer dominars usually. I have an older 2017 model, and the Service center fixed double sided 3M tape, and i never had the issue reoccur. About vibes at lower rpms, i just dont accelerate too much in lower gears.

Changing engine oil will NOT reduce vibrations, except in your head. My experience with factory oil was better, compared to Motul. Again, thats also in my head.

With time, the opposite also happens with regard to vibrations, engine might get smoother, but the rubber washers, and dampers used through the chasis start to degrade and crack, thereby increasing the vibrations. Front disc mislalignment, tire structure, caliper rubbing against the disc also contribute to the handle bar vibes.

It will get smoother, bike is under running in currently, after second service the engine will settle down and become smoother. You can change to motul fs oil after that as well

Guys,for two-up riding,110-120km/3-4hour max short rides,what sort of luggage would you recommend? Can most saddle bags fit without saddle stays on the dominar?(viaterra rapid/falcon for example)

Presently planning to carry two backpacks:front on the tank and back one rested on a carrier. Or both backpacks rested on saddle stays(without carrier). Or get dedicated saddle bags without saddle stays/carrier.

No long trips planned currently.Hence trying to keep it under budget.For the carrier part,I have seen the himalayan type simple carrier.We can keep either a back pack or small duffel/travel back on it with bungee cords.With saddle bags/saddle stays I would need to balance the weights .Plus my needs are only for 1-3 days stay max.Hence the indecision regarding what to purchase as I won't be doing interstate/national trips. I'm looking for the most economical/vfm options currently due to the above mentioned reason.

Hey there, I'm planning to sell one decent quality Saddlestay with Top Rack which is from JB Racing Brand when i bought few month Back MRP was Rs2600 selling for Rs1800. Let me know if you/anyone here interested.

I'm looking for the most economical/vfm options currently due to the above mentioned reason.

You can have a tank bag in front and luggage carrier at the rear. Both these options are good as you can even use them on solo trips or even if you get saddle bags in future, these 2 options would not remain useless.
Saddlebags without saddle stays may brush against the paint on your panels and the scare that they may hit the rear tyre anytime.
