Yes, the instant torque and the way it can sweep through traffic is awesome but I still don't enjoy cornering or pushing it to its limits. I doubt changing the tyres would give it the character I am looking for. It's a jack of all trades, this one, but master of none in my opinion. I would still wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for something in the lines of a new gen Unicorn, a reliable, trouble free and fun to a large extent, partner . I personally feel it's priced well as well.

Though, after a recent ride on a Gixxer, I confirmed I have to part ways with it, as I don't think I will ever connect with it like I do with a Gixxer or RTR. And will most probably switch to one of them soon.

Please let me board the same boat as you're in!. 2.8 years and 20k kms later, somehow the machine refuses to connect with me as the way even my old trusty Unicorn did. Just iterating what's already said; the bike is ultra reliable, excellent FE in the city for a 250CC in B2B traffic(read 36kmpl), relatively low SVC costs, and most importantly the punchy torque that's accessible from very low RPMs. Heck even my Unicorn broke down a couple of times but FZ25 neither did break down nor throw any small tantrums.

The bike checked every of my requirement that I thought would suit me, so I instantly test rode and booked the bike once it was launched. Somehow, as the saying goes, there's more to bikes than just numbers proved to be true. Interesting how the saying "two wheels move the soul" turns out to be so true!

Sometimes I even feel very bad for not appreciating or thinking to let go of such a reliable piece of machinery the FZ25 is but my heart is already thinking to let go of it soon.

    Cheers!

Good choice, go for gixxer, it's smooth and powerful and the gearbox is slick [emoji7]

If you have the tools it's a 10 minute easy DIY. If not, a local mech can adjust it for free. Please Google brake pedal freeplay adjustment, and you'll get an idea.

Hi guys, has anyone fixed an engine belly or engine guard for FZ25? It would be great if anyone can share the pics.

I have checked for the engine belly in Lluvia industries and in Autologue, but still not satisfied. I would need some help if any other references can be shared here.

    3. Nope.
Thank you, I will add this to my shortlist.

Well, I am not really looking to upsize. So, do you have any particular brand or model in mind?
    Thank you!

If budget is not a concern and if I expect at least 15K mileage out the pair,
    1. What are my options if I am going for stock size?
    2. Is it advisable to downgrade the rear?
    3. Post changing the tyres, anything else that I would need to perform
    4. And finally, any suggestions for a shop around Salt Lake area in Kolkata would be helpful
