    Test Run - Daman

As planned, after 1st service on 29th May I undertook my first ride on my Fazer today to Daman from my place (350 Kms return).

I left at 7:30 AM, engine was warmed up good by the time I hit the NH48, I was doing about 100-110 intermittently as on the way to Daman there were too many Container Trucks today & traffic was also there though it was moving but did not get the NH feel. I hit the highway at about 9 AM after having breakfast at Dhaba 10 Kms from Vasai & reached Jampore beach at 10:15 AM. Relaxed at the shack for half an hour was too tempted for a pint but I moved out of the vicinity & came away on the road which connects to NH, sat there under a tree admiring my bike for 20 mins or so...

Ride quality is fantastic, the rattling noise is just the noise I dont think it will do any harm as engine was pretty smooth despite that noise. I have bought the Studds Thunder Helmet which has good cushioning & was also wearing in-earphones without music which blocked the wind noise completely. On the way back it was very windy, i had to duck on tank & that's how i found out that bike is very stable despite the oncoming wind or turbulences created by big vehicles (I'm glad I didn't buy FZ25) It is quite easy to maneuver on highway as well as city traffic though not as nimble as Naked bikes but good enough.

Braking was on point, we have more idiots on our roads than vehicles. They tend to change lanes without signal & the stupid ones who signals they just shoot in the direction then claim "Signal diya na", i faced such dumb****s twice at high speed luckily both times it was bike & my ABS did bring the bike to comfortable pace in no time without any jerks.

Only issue i faced was that my hands went numb (i was wearing gloves & also have foam grips) whenever i got of the bike for a few mins, maybe it is my first bike which has a bit of lean forward stance so I have to get used to it...I did not feel any major discomfort in sitting position & had no body aches after the ride was over.

The grab rail is nightmare for bungee cord & I got the mileage of 33.6 KMs because I was over 90 KMPH most of the time.

Overall, i am pretty happy with the performance of Yamaha Fazer 25, it was a great run & will do more such trips in future.

Hey guys, I am back with my beloved Fazer 25. Looks like no one bought a new Fazer 25 since I took a break from here, i am happy to be that rare owner here. BTW i have planned a big ride in December, i will share the images & experiences in here. Just to fill in on my vibes complaint, since i started using Shell Advance City fully synthetic oil, the bike has become unbelievably smooth.
