Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
I get around 45 to 50 kmpl. Daily 60kms run. So im happy with the mileage.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
Ntorq is for pure pleasure of riding. I forget the issues with mileage etc as soon as i start it and hear that exhaust note. It brings a smile on my face and i think - yes i made a right decision.Last edited by OCTO; 10-12-2018, 04:33 PM.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
All these problems are meager, cold start issues are not very often in Ntorq it comes once in a while and if TVS provides some fix then it's a bliss and you hardly find any other reason to complaint on this scooter except some body vibration which can be arrested. First decide on your choice Access is a complete practical scooter for family with a very refined engine, balanced chassis and suspensions along with a longer seat and a better fuel efficieny. On the other hand Ntorq is a fun to ride scooter with zippy engine, stiffened suspension to carve the corners and shorter seat, class leading instrument. So decide on your needs and go. I have both scooters riding Dynamics I always prefer Ntorq, for a jack of all trades I go with Access 125Originally posted by gmb20011 View PostI have booked Ntorq, but after reading posts about starting problem I am thinking whether to cancel booking and go for Suzuki access instead?

Yeah see, In general we can't expect all the scooters to crank the engine within a single self start !Originally posted by gmb20011 View PostI have booked Ntorq, but after reading posts about starting problem I am thinking whether to cancel booking and go for Suzuki access instead?
Many have been a failure especially with the self start ,but the Ntorq is something a special .
There will be a problem with all bikes one day .
*Once a product is bought ,it's value will go on depreciation whatever it be.
*Only we should take care and be satisfied.
Choose the one which opts you.
Cheers,
Logi.

If you are concerned about the mileage, Don't go for Ntorq.Originally posted by gmb20011 View PostI have booked Ntorq, but after reading posts about starting problem I am thinking whether to cancel booking and go for Suzuki access instead?
*IT'S ALL DEPENDING UPON THE NECESSITY
Remember that the cold start is normal for any bikes and during the run -in period it's more common .
Still you can choose any others like Dio, Ray, Jupiter, maestro and Activa whatever it be .
The cold start will arise only during midnights and early morning.Last edited by Aswinlogi; 10-12-2018, 05:40 AM.

Yeah instead of auto-choke, they should've given the regular choke !!!Originally posted by Dinesh.P View PostIt's easy to demonstrate kick start functionality on a hot engine.. try when it's not starting even with 10 to 20 kicks it won't start ..

Thanks. May be something wrong at my end. Anyways the issue is fixed.Originally posted by Dinesh.P View PostI am using Redmi device and never faced this issue
About the cold start. I'm sure many know this.
What i do is - >
3-4 kicks with ignition off. And turn on the ignition then with 1 or 2 kicks, it starts.
It works for me.. For now.. Touch wood [emoji4].

I am using Redmi device and never faced this issueOriginally posted by OCTO View PostGuys, update. I initially posted that I was facing issue with Navigation losing the GPS signal as soon as the phone was kept in the pocket or in the boot. Tried with 2 Redmi phones - same issue. Now when I got a phone from another brand it works prefectly fine. So wasn't sure if this was an issue with Redmi phone or some settings in it.
Anyone any idea on this?

It's easy to demonstrate kick start functionality on a hot engine.. try when it's not starting even with 10 to 20 kicks it won't start ..Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostBut I was notified by ASC that the new scooters like Ntorq , Jupiter, wego models have a pretty good easy kick start !
*Even a salesman showed about its functionality !!
I hope there will be a remedy for cold start , contact the ASC.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
1. Looks like its designed that way. Water may seep in during heavy rain. Check out "Born to ride" channel he has explained.Originally posted by SubhashGowda07 View PostBought this scooter a week back and have did odd 250kms till now.. I haven't faced any ignition problems. I'll be parking my scooter outside and in the morning all it takes is single kick to come life ! Maybe they might have fixed this issue in newer lots And yes auto choke is there and it's working just fine for me..
Now coming back to the scooter experience.. Oh boy what do I say, manh this is a beautiful scooter from design to ride quality. Love the soft suspension setup cos it suits our dead roads. As the bike is running breaking in period can't say much, however I felt the rear brake bite is bit less.
Was never much into scooters but after buying this I'm so happy to say that I made a right choice. Meanwhile I'm keeping my Rc390 for Sunday rides.
Got few queries :
1. Looks like there's a gap between the fuel lid and the base part, is that how it is like the design wise ?
2.Thinking of taking this scooter for highway ride which covers 300km in a day, is it fine as it's still in breaking in period !
3. There's a minute click sound coming near engine whenever I accelerate and decelerate, is that okay ?
2. Should be ok, just vary the throttle input. Dont keep it in a single speed/rpm.
3. 2.5 months and even now i hear that clicks till now. I think should not be an issue.
I'm not mechanically knowledge able - just somethings i picked up reading XBHP and riding. Hope it helps.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
Yep. It Was scary but disappointing a lot. Faced the startup issue just in 5 months.
Now all ok apart from that engine fan noise. They didnt give me the vehicle today, said they need more time.. Facing the worst tvs service. Had jupiter, faced ZERO issue in 2 years.
With NTorq, the issue never seems to stop.

Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread
About that cold start issue, its being tracked by TVS well. they are resolving it seamlessly, if you bring it to the notice of the higher authorities through mails & FB messengers. As of other problems, I havnt faced till now. My Odo is only 2900kms.Originally posted by fvrhaaaan View PostDear owners ,
thankyou for sharing all the pros & cons as its very helpfull for the non-owners who are ought to buy the vehicle. Its kind of a real world & a long term review.
I was thinking of getting one but sadly I think I will have to change my decision now !Looking at the problems it has (specially starting problem) [emoji53]
