Interesting thing is he said that the break setting is at max already, as far as i remember it was adjusted only once, that too on the third day of the delivery.

Do you think my bike was used more than what the ODO said initially - before the delivery?

Or is it normal for a scooter break liner to go at 2.5K KM running?
On mine the rear brake screw is so far back that if I loosen it even one rotation it would fall off.
You usually rotate it clockwise to tighten the brake and counter-clockwise to make it loose.
The lever pulls in only 1/3rd of the distance at the current position and its very hard to put the parking brake.

However, at this stage the rear brake has started to make screeching sounds in the morning when its cold.
There is no performance dip in braking.

So, if your brake is not working or the brake tightening screw cannot be tightened any further aka Max
then there is a good chance that your ntorq may have been used as a test ride scooter.
Most general folk use only rear brake on a scooter. Disc brake is an invitation to yamlok for them.

When my ntorq was delivered , even its speedo was disconnected and there was a scratch on the front right 125cc sticker (which was covered up with some white enamel) and the exhaust did not have the CVTI Revv sticker.
So mine is either a damaged piece or worse, test ride mule.
But, brakes are not old :/
Eitherway, I do not care, it works just as I expected with the exception of cold starts, if this bothers me further, this will be the second TVS scooter that I sell in 6 months.
I will buy a Honda in future. You cannot beat Japanese technology.

    1. How do you rate the engine smoothness of NTorq in comparison to Activa, Dio or Access?
    2. How is the stability and comfort in comparison to Activa?
    2. How is the service experience?
    3. Any niggling issues?

Sorry to disturb with a lot of questions. Thanks in advance.
    1. Engine Smoothness- Ntorq is about Raw Power delivery. Smoothness is compromised a bit. Best engine refinement comes from Activa.
    2. Stability(I assume its handling)- Best in segment. Comfort- Jupiter is far better and the most comfortable scooter in India, while Ntorq's suspension is a bit stiff.
    3. Varies among svc centers. But better than Honda.
    4. Yes, the cold start issue is there, but its been taken care off now.

1: Same as Activa. More Smooth than Access.
2: very Stable ride because of fat tyre at the back and thick front tyre at the front. The compound is quite sticky.
3: TVS service is pretty good. They are competing with Honda.
4: mileage, electric start, cold start, Headlight focus is not positioned properly (falls very close - need to use high beam as Low beam)

When bike's on reserve, fuel trip meter shows up. But of i park my bike on side stand, next time i start my bike i see 2 lines of fuel and trip meter goes to jormal.
Then again when it goes to reserved tank the fuel trip meter is again reset to zero.
Does anyone have noticed this before?
Might be because the fuel sensor is in the left side of the tank. Simlar thing happens with my RTR 200. When on side stand, it will usually show 1 bar of fuel more than that on center stand/while riding. The fuel trip meter will also disappear but when it comes back, it won't be reset to 0.
