    Re: TVS-NTorq 125 Ownership Thread

Bought this scooter a week back and have did odd 250kms till now.. I haven't faced any ignition problems. I'll be parking my scooter outside and in the morning all it takes is single kick to come life ! Maybe they might have fixed this issue in newer lots And yes auto choke is there and it's working just fine for me..

Now coming back to the scooter experience.. Oh boy what do I say, manh this is a beautiful scooter from design to ride quality. Love the soft suspension setup cos it suits our dead roads. As the bike is running breaking in period can't say much, however I felt the rear brake bite is bit less.

Was never much into scooters but after buying this I'm so happy to say that I made a right choice. Meanwhile I'm keeping my Rc390 for Sunday rides.

    Got few queries :

    1. Looks like there's a gap between the fuel lid and the base part, is that how it is like the design wise ?

2.Thinking of taking this scooter for highway ride which covers 300km in a day, is it fine as it's still in breaking in period !

    3. There's a minute click sound coming near engine whenever I accelerate and decelerate, is that okay ?

Let me attach few pictures of my machine :Click image for larger version

But I was notified by ASC that the new scooters like Ntorq , Jupiter, wego models have a pretty good easy kick start !

*Even a salesman showed about its functionality !!

I hope there will be a remedy for cold start , contact the ASC.

*You can buy it for sure but don't expect a good mileage as it's not meant for that.

*ASC said me that mileage will be around 35-40 .

Anyhow I was eager to buy a geared bike andso moved on buying Apache 160 4v.

Check what your requirements are and choose wisely.

Yes the auto choke issue is a common issue in Ntorq. Please refer 3-4 pages back, its been extensively discussed by us. Sad, that some Non-owners are hijacking the thread and not contributing anything worthwhile.

Post your complain on official TVS facebook messenger, you will get quick respond. My issue was solved by carb & idle RPM tuning only. Some people, with more serious issue have got their choke replaced.

Autochoke system automatically sets the choke to give the engine optimum temperature while cold starting.Thereby , the rider no longer needs to think about operating the choke while restarting the engine.

The Ntorq is carburated. No autochoke is there in carburated blocks too.

    Hope this helps ,
    Cheers. [emoji111]
