If you don't want to anger your wife, do yourself a favor, get any other scooter but ntorq.

    Hi Gollum,

Thanks for the reply. Actually there is pretty much no such thing as winter in Vadodara, specially if you are coming from the North. The temperature at its coldest is about 14 degrees here.

This starting issue is looking to be a bit of a concern now. Problem is I dont want her to get another Honda and the Burgman is beyond my already bloated budget and looks weird with those small wheels. We do have indoor parking at my place and her work place but I guess I am really looking for excuses to buy this scooter.

Still I am very thankful for your candid feedback.

I have read the first 10 pages of the thread and apologize in advance if I am asking something which has already been discussed. I appreciate your replies.

    Thanks!

To add more, my 17 year old splendor starts faster without choke after a month or two of sitting idle.

Well, they can charge anything... People buy Honda blindly. So if you resale, people will buy that defective peice blindly aswell. Their Support team never answer your queries/complaints, You might get lucky if its a CBR. But the showroom guys never listn to the HO. My experience with CBR was ruined due to those @#$%$#.
Coming to Yamaha & TVS, the whole scenario changes.. Suddenly you feel privileged.

    5. Yes there is some issue in the morning, if bike remain unused for a day. Mine is going good now after 1st servicing.
    6. Just the scratches. Odo reading should not be more that 20-30 kms.

All said and done can you please help me with the following?

    1. Are the mirrors separate accessories or are they part of the package?
    2. Are there any accessories I can opt for from TVS? If so what are the approx prices?

Ive got my vehicle back after is refused to start and left me stranded on the road at 330am.. This was 2 days back.
Now ive got it back, tvs mechanic said there were lot of dust and mud in petrol tank, hence the petrol wasnt passing to the engine.
I m not taking risk to take it to my work as of now. Ill leave it idle for 8 to 10 hours amd check for the issue..
Do u guys think what the mechanic said was truth?
Because never faces this issue with jupiter in 2 years.

Auto-choke? Man, I didn't realise this Scooter had auto-choke. Speaking from a previous experience I've had with a Discover 100M, automatic usage of choke is the worst. Starting issues will just leave you stranded and helpless.

I keep the electric start held till it starts.
I don't care if the starter motor Burns out. I'm going to make a YouTube video of this. If you guys can take a video clip i will add it to the video to show to tvs that this is not an isolated issue.

I would recommend not to buy ntorq. Im constantly facing starting issue with the scooter. Towed it to service center already twice. Last night at 330 am it refused to start when i was coming back home from work..
The mechanic came and he couldnt do anything and then the vehicle got towed till my home 30kms at 630am. Now need to tow it again to service centre.
