Maybe they might have fixed this issue in newer lots And yes auto choke is there and it's working just fine for me..

Now coming back to the scooter experience.. Oh boy what do I say, manh this is a beautiful scooter from design to ride quality. Love the soft suspension setup cos it suits our dead roads. As the bike is running breaking in period can't say much, however I felt the rear brake bite is bit less.

Was never much into scooters but after buying this I'm so happy to say that I made a right choice. Meanwhile I'm keeping my Rc390 for Sunday rides.

    Got few queries :

    1. Looks like there's a gap between the fuel lid and the base part, is that how it is like the design wise ?

2.Thinking of taking this scooter for highway ride which covers 300km in a day, is it fine as it's still in breaking in period !

    3. There's a minute click sound coming near engine whenever I accelerate and decelerate, is that okay ?
    1. Looks like its designed that way. Water may seep in during heavy rain. Check out "Born to ride" channel he has explained.

    2. Should be ok, just vary the throttle input. Dont keep it in a single speed/rpm.

    3. 2.5 months and even now i hear that clicks till now. I think should not be an issue.

I'm not mechanically knowledge able - just somethings i picked up reading XBHP and riding. Hope it helps.

It's easy to demonstrate kick start functionality on a hot engine.. try when it's not starting even with 10 to 20 kicks it won't start ..

        Anyone any idea on this?

Thanks. May be something wrong at my end. Anyways the issue is fixed.

About the cold start. I'm sure many know this.

          What i do is - >
3-4 kicks with ignition off. And turn on the ignition then with 1 or 2 kicks, it starts.

It works for me.. For now.. Touch wood [emoji4].

Yeah instead of auto-choke, they should've given the regular choke !!!

I have booked Ntorq, but after reading posts about starting problem I am thinking whether to cancel booking and go for Suzuki access instead?

Every vehicle has issues... Ntorq got so many positive things....
Even after 6 months, people still look at it and admire it.

If you are concerned about the mileage, Don't go for Ntorq.

*IT'S ALL DEPENDING UPON THE NECESSITY

Remember that the cold start is normal for any bikes and during the run -in period it's more common .

Still you can choose any others like Dio, Ray, Jupiter, maestro and Activa whatever it be .

The cold start will arise only during midnights and early morning.

Yeah see, In general we can't expect all the scooters to crank the engine within a single self start !

Many have been a failure especially with the self start ,but the Ntorq is something a special .

There will be a problem with all bikes one day .

*Once a product is bought ,it's value will go on depreciation whatever it be.

*Only we should take care and be satisfied.

Choose the one which opts you.

                    Cheers,

All these problems are meager, cold start issues are not very often in Ntorq it comes once in a while and if TVS provides some fix then it's a bliss and you hardly find any other reason to complaint on this scooter except some body vibration which can be arrested. First decide on your choice Access is a complete practical scooter for family with a very refined engine, balanced chassis and suspensions along with a longer seat and a better fuel efficieny. On the other hand Ntorq is a fun to ride scooter with zippy engine, stiffened suspension to carve the corners and shorter seat, class leading instrument. So decide on your needs and go. I have both scooters riding Dynamics I always prefer Ntorq, for a jack of all trades I go with Access 125

Ntorq is for pure pleasure of riding. I forget the issues with mileage etc as soon as i start it and hear that exhaust note. It brings a smile on my face and i think - yes i made a right decision.

Now 4th service nearing, i get between 45 to 50kmpl and i usually do 70 to 90 kmph. I use to do 50 to 70 kmph around 1st to 3rd service and i use to get 50 plus kmpl. Now i usually rev and do most above 70 plus so getting 45 to 50.
Im sure if i do below 60, ill get 50 plus.
I measure it via full tank to full tank method.
