Re: TVS Apache RR310
1. That's not an error. It will show up if you don't close the throttle when you want to change the riding modes on the fly. You have to roll off the throttle to change.Originally posted by TheExpendble View PostHi all,
I have successfully imported the BS6 RR310 to UAE and registered. Overall, a Great Motorcycle. I will give a brief initial Review:
Few errors i have experienced:
1. Today there was a message that said: "Close Throttle" all the time when i was riding
2. Once the cluster showed: Service due in 250 kms, when my odo was 260 kms
I have to say, the headlight is fantastic and very bright, specially the high beam. The blue line on the low beam cut-off shield is phenomenal.
Riding is not bad, its very difficult to tolerate the wind resistance.

2. No idea about that one. Must be something calculation error.

Re: TVS Apache RR310
Hey everyone
So I recently got the BS6 RR310 (red) and it's my first bike ever. I've been lusting over it since it's launch and finally got the opportunity to own it.
Cause of the lockdown I've just been riding 5-8 kms every two days and adding kilometres for my first service to get the other two riding modes unlocked.
I've been thinking of getting a PPF or a ceramic coating done but I'm conflicted between the two.
Which one's better and why?
Also I'm fairly new to motorcycles and I am slowly learning. So go easy on me 😅

Ceramic is any day better than PPF, primarily owing to color fade and peeling over time. Ceramic coating lasts a while, repels water and is comparatively a bargain when compared to PPF.Originally posted by prettyflacko View PostHey everyone

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Does anyone know where to get the left side grab rail for rr 310 bs6
Showroom guys have no idea about it
As only right side grab rail is fitted along with it no option to hold for left side
Maybe you can ask them to order it for you, refer to pictures posted in this thread by one of the members for part number.

Let me be Candid on your post. You only asked for Oil Seal replacement, not the fork dust cap. I can understand your concern, but it is totally unfair to blame SVC for the same, you should have been more explict. In addition, date of packing of oil seals is also fine. What I can see in the above video that the jugaad (fork pipe cover) you have done to your forks could well do more damage to fork pipe. When dust enters the inside of cover, it will remain there and could, otherwise, led to formation of scratch lines in fork pipes.
Now I can empathize with what you have felt when they charged so much and broke the Indicator; which they must have replaced. Agree, with your point that TVS SVCs are falling short on quality of service. I wish they address your concerns.

I remember many of 1st lot batch of RR310s had so many issues, in which fork seals was on of them.
There are many who got the fork seals replaced under warranty by TVS due to bad QC and design of the seals.
KTM also had very bad issues with fork seals in their 1st 3 years and they promptly accepted and used to replace them under warranty.
Next time onwards, for jobs like these anything external apart from the engine job, I would suggest get it done from a well known outside mechanic who deals with superbikes servicing, he'll do it for under ₹2000, as TVS does have over-the-counter sales, you should not have any problem in buying the spares parts seperatly.Bajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart
