    Honestly i Haven't ridden the RC at night. This is on par with dominar for sure. High beam is very good. Low beam has very good spread and the best part is the markers on the roads light up. No complaints with anything till now. Hoping it stays that way. Fingers crossed.

      Well, these posts are making me more patient for the G310R (only standard/nakeds, don't really dig fully faired bikes).

      But that red, it makes me jealous.

        Honestly I was tired of the windblast at high speeds on naked Motorcycles. Touring becomes so much more painful. The thing is, aero on this bike is something I'm sure many riders wouldn't have experienced. You tuck down, there's no buffeting noise! What wizardry is this? I managed 161kmph once though :P

          Bro how are you getting such mileage ??
          I am getting about 23. Done 150 odd kms. I traverse on full traffic signal route with some spots of open roads(For Mumbaikers-I am talking about suburbs Link Road). Yours should be pure highway usage. I mostly am on 1-2-3 gears and sometime on 4th and 5th.

            Expose your bike to all 6 gears at majority of the rpm below 6000-7000 then only the gearbox and engine will set in, don't restrict taking your bike to higher speeds occasionally.

              Thanks for the advice. Yes I do that occassionally. But my daily run which is like 90% of my ride is through such shitty roads where it gets heated up massively and i can literally feel it on my legs.

                It will improve after first service, heat should get better. Take your bike on highways as well.

                  If you come to Bangalore and ask people who travel from JP nagar to Hebbal, they'll tell you how much of a highway that is :P it's all in the city, the powerband is always available you can shift to max gear easily.

                    Yes exactly! Majority of the times I'm running below 5000rpm.. occasionally, i revved it up in the higher gears, not the lower one's.



                    I'm very happy with the heat dissipation as well. In the peak traffic i can feel some heat only under my thighs as that's about it.
                    You can take it to redline it's just that you have to let the bike decelerate gradually, but this should be done very very rarely, and no harm honestly for taking your bike in lower gears to a high rpm, you just have to shift at the right.

                      I don't in the lower hears because of the limiter and sudden snatch to the chain. But well soon.. maybe 350kms left for 1st service. By next week, perhaps.

                        Its just how I ran in my bike, obviously there is no limiter on the cbr. At what rpm level is the limiter set at?

                          It's adjustable.. depends on what you want. Company wants 7000 though (manual says so) for the break in.

                          Limiter set at 10900.

                            Is it a limiter or a Shift light?

                            If its a limiter, are customers able to self adjust it or do you need to ask the Diagnostic team to adjust it?

                              My bad. The limiter is at 10900.

                              The shift light is set to 7000 at default, which is adjustable. Also, the engine break in max rpm limit provided by company is also 7000RPM too.
