Please do share your thoughts about the motor as i am more interested in BMW GS 310 so would like to know.
This motor is sweeter as you revv higher. The compression ratio is different on this motor as compared to the GS310 but trust me the engine is trackable. Low revvs high gears, no worries at all.

True. Very tractable. So unlike RC390. Thats why its not much of a hassle in traffic as well.

I am facing some problems though as i have mentioned elsewhere.
        1. Some weird sound from the chaindrive or the lower rear part of the bike.
        2. Stalling of engine out of nowhere.
        3. The calibration on my bike is not proper as it tends to tilt towards the right almost immediately whenever i try 'No hands'. Did it to check the calibration. Do check these in your bike and confirm as well.

I am thinking of going to ASC soon with these issues.

Yeah me too facing the first two points , but for second problem i am revving the bike whenever i am slowing it down while riding on speed breaker. so now it's no more getting stall.

As concerned of point 3 i am not facing this problem, the only extra addon on right side of bike is the rear handle which they have added to give grip to pillion & to remove bike from small parking space, i wanted to shift it to left side so tried to remove it by losing nuts under rear seat, but afterwards found that it is being welded on both side.

            1. Chain is loose. I know coz i had the sound while in pdi, later fixed during delivery. He adjusted the slack.
            2. No turning off here. Not faced even once.
            3. As said, check the wheel's alignment thoroughly.

Welded? I got mine removed during delivery. Did not want any ugly bits on my motorcycle 😝

Did you got the front tyre pressure checked for this? Can also check if fork is properly tightened or not. Sometimes they tend to forget this during PDI

I got my motorcycle yesterday delivered from mysore, sona motors. The delivery experience is beyond something i can put across in words. The hospitality, care shown by the staff is beyond imagination. I reside in Bangalore, but booked my motorcycle from mysore because of the long waiting periods here.
                  Congrats bro.

Can the owners talk about Heat management? How is the hot air redirected ? It is pushed downwards and outwards like they advertised or can you still feel the heat on the legs?

It's very well controlled. I felt warmth under my thighs at very very high temps in peak traffic. None on the shins.

There is a separate video by motorids in youtube specific to this heat management in traffic.

I am not removing the rear handle as of now as it is helpful in moving the bike in reverse. Also it cant be seen anyway at first glance or maybe even at second unless a person has a keen eye cause they might anyway be hooked to the colour and design of the fairing

                          2. This has become a much more nuisance now. Now even if i try to start the bike after getting stalled, it wont start at one go. Imagine that happening in the middle of the highway.

                            .
Wait i noticed one thing i forgot to add.

If you try to start the bike in gear, while pressing the clutch it doesn't want to start. Put it in neutral and you are good to go.

I enquired and apparently this is a safety feature. I know bikes which crank in gears and the result is a fall.

Same with the side stand as well. The bike starts with the stand, try moving forward and you'll stall. These are small little features that are implemented for safety.

If you think the bike goes to limp mode, the limp mode limits the Revvs to 6000 and then kills the engine.

                              Whats a limp mode ?
i know about the side stand thing and for starting in gears you need to completely press the clutch otherwise it wont start.

Btw engine kill switch is completely useless for this bike as the head lights will be ON even if you kill the engine. This would drain the battery. So i turn the key OFF in traffic signals.
