Re: TVS Apache RR310
Funny thing is 150CC bikes don't give 50 kmpl in normal circumstances.
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
Even I am unable to digest such figures. I am an actual user as well. I am getting 23 kmpl as per the digital console having ridden in traffic conditions and sometimes aggressive riding on open roads. On highways it's giving me 36 kmpl
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
I have talked to other users as well. These figures are just obscene even as per them. The service technician says it's not possible in normal circumstances. And him claiming such figures is making me finnicky if something is wrong with my bike.

Re: TVS Apache RR310
Talked to the guy. He said there was a problem in the gear sensor. It wasn't detecting the gears at all. The bike had to be towed that day. The service centre guys replaced it for free. He was furious as to how a new bike can get such a problem. He said the parts price is somehwhat 150-200 rs.

Find out whats the Road Tax % in your state
Edit: It seems like its 6% on purchased value, not sure if this means Ex-showroom value in which case total cost will be 2lakhs + 12000 = 2.12lakhs
Source: https://www.bankbazaar.com/tax/kerala-road-tax.html
Effective cost will be 2.12 + other things (like insurance, temporary registration, accessories)Last edited by MotoBlizzard; 04-08-2018, 01:26 PM.For My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

https://www.google.co.in/amp/s/auto....kh-1832279/ampOriginally posted by fayad555 View PostThe current ex showroom price is 1,99,999 so it's still under 2L and can escape the higher 20% tax slab in Kerala for 2wheelers above 2L
Looks like there is an increase of 13k for rr310

And if people cannot keep the throttle constant, it's not my fault or headache. I am doing 400+ kms until reserve light glows.
I am as happy as it gets and i don't really need to prove anything to the internet warriors (Not you).
My fellow riders saw it and yet they are as happy as i am coz it's something which can be achieved on a 312.2cc Motorcycle.

What exactly does the gear sensor do that causes it to strand a bike in the middle of the road?Originally posted by ani2607 View PostTalked to the guy. He said there was a problem in the gear sensor. Constant throttle. Impossible in my daily commute from DRDO to Whitefield, in the peak hours. You're lucky.Originally posted by JS16 View PostIf you all live in Bangalore, please meet up on a weekend. Shall show how its done!

I managed around 55kmpl at 70-80kmph on my gixxer using light constant throttle, so it might be possible.

Re: TVS Apache RR310
It was 2.27 lacs when I booked the bike a week ago from Cochin showroom. I think the price is still the same in Kerala. Although I was warned that the price might be hiked from April 1. So I booked it on March 31st. Not sure if it was a gimmick to make people book the bike at the earliest.Originally posted by fayad555 View PostWhats the price in Kerala now? Re: TVS Apache RR310
I think he might have ridden in a freeway with speed around 50kmph which will put the rpm below 3000rpm on 6th gear.Originally posted by leech View PostAnd how did you calculate the final mileage? Looking at the console again?
I agree the console values may not reflect the exact figure but still 50kmpl on console means , could be more than 40kmpl in actual considering the error.
But nowaday the console reading are becoming more reliable than before, even the reading on fz25 doesnt deviate much from the actual readings.
My conclusion would be it might be possible to extract 40kmpl, but practically it is not possible to ride always in the super economy mode. So for most people practically it is not possible to extract such high figures.
IIRC, the review from motoroctane claimed around 40kmpl.
Another user getting 32kmpl http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motorb...ml#post4383138

The price hike for RR from april 1st is true ( even bajaj did that hike, dont know the reason behind for particularly April 1st ), but for kerala and telugana, the price is below 2L.Other cities there was a hike of 8k.Originally posted by HyperionX View PostIt was 2.27 lacs when I booked the bike a week ago from Cochin showroom.
