    For registration, i always prefer to give the affidavit for local address proof in the area close to the showroom, and since i have many relatives in Chennai,its easy fro me. This way the rto office and showroom will be close to each other.

        The sales team is not trained to handle 310.
        They've been taught to do a little more negotiations than Apaches and Jupiters and so on.
        Same goes with Bajaj with Dominar.
        They're the ones who are damaging the rapport of their respective manufacturers.

            It would be really nice if the manufacturers would provide a separate branches for premium machines like how Maruti does it with nexa showrooms, I've seen this problem arise with almost all manufacturers Honda with the 250R, RE with cont GT, Yamaha with their R3, Mt09 and even R15, now Bajaj with Dominar and Tvs with 310. When customers pay a premium they expect a bit of exclusivity and specialized care for their machines I understand that they don't sell as much as the other offerings but a little bit of exclusivity would improve the purchase and ownership experience greatly.

              pl get this assumption out of your head my friend if they keep opening exclusive outlets for such small numbers, they'll run on losses. and sub 3L bikes aren't even 'premium' imo. i mean it's just relative.. a person with lower income buying a splendor will think its a premium for him.

              forget separate showrooms, the least they could do it have properly trained mechanics and maybe a separate bay for these bikes in the existing showrooms. when they (irrespective of manufacturer) can't even provide a well trained mechanic with minimal bullshit at their svc's forget having a separate branches. even companies like benelli, kawa suck at their service experience where you pay a bomb and get treated like shit.. it's better you pay less and take similar bs

                Buddy you are pushing it a bit too far. You cant even comprehend the infrastructure cost that would entail. And opening different premium showrooms would mean lesser number of premium SVCs which would mean most probably they would not be nearer to your house which would mean servicing and repairs becoming a hassle.

                To add about my experience of the purchase, the after sales here at Hare Krishna TVS, Mumbai has been phenomenal. I have been treated like I actually own a premium superbike. They have been so good with it. The dealership experience all depends upon the dealer I feel. TVS has done their job of training people at different dealership. But the attrition rate in this industry is pretty high. And TVS cannot keep on training people every 2 months if the previous one has left the job. Although if this is the case then they need to figure out a solution still.

                  True, manufacturers need more volume to make it feasible but hey one can dream right [emoji53] hopefully someday this will change.

                          I don't see any comparison with the cbr even mentioned, he only mentioned the fuel efficiency reported at 50kmpl which is better than most 150cc segment bikes and is not realistic, 25-35 is quite realistic for the Apache. The Apache is leap years ahead of the cbr in terms of tech n power n all that, that's cause Honda are happy releasing an outdated model and sales of activas are keeping them happy honestly, coming to reliability we will know in the long run how the engine is n all that.

                            True, what you mentioned is probably the real time fuel economy. care to link to the person who said he gets 50kmpl doing 140kmph!?
                            I can show a fe figure of 50kmpl on my d200's console, but that aint real time consumption.. it might do real time 40's if i keep it around 70kmph constantly for a long time. Sadly many folks are more concerned or rather 'proud' about quoting high fe than enjoying the bike, especially the 'performance' motorcycles, without understanding the practical economy figures. I see a few tvs scooter owners who say they get 65kmpl, i just smile and walk away

                              Well, you can find out the guy from the posts above. You're right, he's been looking at the console and making nonsensical claims as to his mileage. It's like those dudes who claim X bike can do X speed and stick to it despite everybody laughing.

                              His claims have been proven fraudulent by fellow 310 owners. I do not wish to clutter the thread anymore.

                                what's wrong especially with regular spares costs(apart from maybe a wrong figure for the chain sprocket value).. it was his view. not many folks understand the overall ownership costs, and then cry when it's time to replace parts. there are other videos that project too much positiveness or bash/praise a particular brand.

                                if you want an unbiased opinion, then just ride the bike yourself.. that's what i do. and if you are on a budget or worried about costs, do your research on the prices of common spares to get a rough idea on how much you would be spending in future.

                                i think new owners should just keep off these social media, forums etc for a couple of months and just enjoy riding the bike first. thanks to these sources, folks end up discovering orgasmic vibes, sounds and get worried/paranoid after some 'expert' (like me) tells him what could be the issue/solution.
