      For 6 feet and 1 inch, i think the Gixxer will be cramped! Not that the 310RR isnt short as well! I feel it would be better for you to test ride to see if you are comfortable!

      BTW! 100cc bikes seating posture is sit straight while on the Ninja 250 it isnt! What i was trying to convey is i did 850 kms on a bike which i have never ridden before! I bought the bike in Bhopal and rode it to Delhi!! Was not trying to convey i did long ride on Ninja 250

But if u have chronic back pain as u mentioned, then any sports bike will only aggravate the condition(Not just KTMS) . But worry not, as this bike offers an automatic vibration massage in certain rpms that will soothe out your body pain 😁😁😁

Cruisers like Thunderbird and Avenger are your best bet for your problem. But what baffles me is your comparison of an apple with orange. You might need to research more about the choices u consider.           Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, Thunderbird 350X was one of my choices, but again many friends suggested me to drop the idea, for RE comes with decade old engine with sufficient amount of vibrations, with added weight etc. Given your feedback, I guess I should better take a test ride and decide before turning down the idea of RR310. Note that while bicycling, my back was not sitting straight but bent to some angle too. Just that the back was straight without the lower bent. I rode pulsars (all old models up to 220cc) and I found the posture good (probably because of handlebar - less aggressive I suppose) except that those bikes looked small on me and I hate the clutch box and chain noises of pulsars apart from the frequent maintenance. Would an aggressive riding position be a good fit for me? That's one reason why I'm comparing Gixxer here coz Gixxer handlebar looked like thunderbird's which I suppose would give comfort for seating. Just a doubt, pls clarify.

            Aggressive riding position will be good for you as long as you keep ur upper torso loose. Grip the tank with your knee & thigh vehemently, So that there is no pressure on your back. Bend slightly to an extent that your arms are parallel to the handlebars with a very loose grip. An advantage with Rr310 is that its handlebars are raised higher than other 300 cc sports bikes. And footpegs are recessed just right. Don't know anything about Gixxer though. I think u will get great answers from veteran riders like theironhorse99, s1d who have plenty of experience under their belt. PM them.

              RC and RR are totally two different bikes in practical sense.
              RC-aggressive power delivery and riding stance, weak lowerend torque.
              RR-comfortable riding stance ( slightly aggressive than R3), linear power delivery and the lower end is almost like a street fighter. can return 30-32 kmpl in city and 35+ on highway @100kmph or less which will result in your ownership cost too.
              RC has bigger engine and hence it has more power which is evident when pitted against each other, but IMO purchase should be made according to ones need. And the decision between RC vs RR should be very easy.
              Both are wonderful handlers and i feel RR is more stable on highways than RC.

              PS: If i were you, i wouldn't decide with respect to the price and conclude the vfm. Value for money should be with respect to ones need & necessity against the money spent, not the money spent vs the spec sheet. Please dont quote me on this, this is purely my way of taking purchase decision.

              RR is slightly forward biased and lower set handlebars compared to gixxer, so it wont be the same as sitting on gixxer, but the leg position is same as any naked bikes and not like a sport bike ( read raised and rear set foot pegs).
              RR provides very good support for gripping the tank with thighs. So this would take so much of pressure from shoulder and back. I come from Hero Honda HUNK, i haven't experienced any pain, only my forearm gets fatigue in heavy city traffic due to heavy clutch ( compared to my HUNK) but tilting the clutch lever slightly down would solve the issue to some extent. But this is not a deal breaker at all.
              Other aspects of comparison, i think you dont need any details since those are obvious.

                  I told you so. It's even more accurate actually. Reason? You can't actually measure millilitres.

                  But main thing being, it gives mileage better than all 200cc bikes ������

                          Yes, its hard to believe especially from a 34ps engine with a rev limiter at around 10750 rpm , including me was skeptic about this.
                          But now i have no doubts, i tested myself

                                Aftermarket exhaust is now available for Apache rr 310 from Akrapovic. It adds 2.4 HP & 2.7 Nm torque while it sheds 4.5 kg weight of the bike. And it costs whopping ₹55000.
