What parts? CBR 250? Can you lock the handlebar after this?

Hello! My name is Rahul and I’m new to Xbhp. Brought a MT15 a month ago! Just loved the thread on the V3. [emoji1591]Has anyone checked out the accessories by Motoaggrandize?

I might be wrong but I think it is just the clip ons that are replaced, the locking mechanism for the handle should still work.

Had a doubt as the stock clip-ons barely had space between the ends of the handlebar and the front dome fairing, and have seen some videos of people cutting off bits of fairing just for this.

You should also post in MT 15 thread for this.
Although it doesn't have much of the posting but this will keep the forum clean and segregated.

                Hello there guys,
I am a proud owner of V3 and i bought this bike in the year 2018 (October) and it’s almost being 2 years since I have bought the bike.
I have this issue from a very long time and couldn’t find any resolution from any resource. Kindly help!!!
My bike has just clocked 10090kms and I don’t really ride my bike almost everyday but the bike is in condition and everything is in place apart from the vibrations i get from the handlebars and footpegs while I am revving the bike to 5-6k RPM in first and second gear.
This has been a constant issue since the time i started keeping my bike idle for a long time.
                However i make sure that my bike is well maintained like I make sure the chain is lubed on time, oil is changed after every interval but here’s a catch;
I first used Yamalube, Motul and now Liqui moly but i make sure that i flush the old oil properly in order to get the new oil in.

I went to the Yamaha service centre where the service told me that the issue is resolved and it actually made a change the vibrations had gone and also the exhaust sounds pretty different and rough as compared to other R15 and when this motorcycle was new.
My bike still looks new and i have done almost everything to keep the bike maintained.

Can somebody please help me with this issue and if possible you can ring me +91 9867705862

Also can anyone suggest me a oil which I can continue in future?

Please help me as any problem with my motorcycle takes away my sleep
                Kindly help bikers😑

Those are resonance vibrations. Almost every bike has it. The V3 has this at exactly 5 to 6k rpm. Gloves help with the handlebar and nothing is better than the stock pegs.

The bike is probably smoothest with liquimoly compared to Yamalube.

You can try switching to Iridium plugs that might help with this slightly, but you have to learn to live with vibes especially with the BS4 variants. They probably have polished this issue in the BS6 variants.

I don’t really think that’s resonance but it’s really weird because my exhaust sounds weird and the engine sounds too throaty, grunty and rough.
My friends who own a BS4 has never faced such issues and this pisses me off.
You can also check my post in help me forum where I am maintained each and everything about my motorcycle

                    ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Also to add in here, the Yamaha guys fixed the vibrations problem but now that’s back and what I have noticed is that if the bike is moving it feels normal while revving but after this lockdown when I serviced my bike and was lying in the building compound the bike was again like it was vibrating previously and the vibrations goes along with the grunty sounding exhaust and i do agree that Yamaha’s do sound grunty and R15 v3 is definitely grunty in the higher rev range but when it comes to riding my bike the experience is pretty different from others most of my friends they own the same bike and theirs sounds very smooth and soothing to ears but mine is pretty bad its really like something is rattling around the bike and the engine sound is pretty weird like mentioned as rough. Last time when I serviced my bike was in june and now in September.

Even if i in change the oil the problem will persist also to mention here when I gave the bike to Yamaha guys and asked them to resolve the problem they just said we made a minor changes like setting the clutch and all but never disclosed what setting they did.

So i really need with this

                    Somebody please help mE

First off, comparing your posts back to back, I would suggest you check your valve clearances, and get them checked/adjusted. Secondly, make sure your chain isn't too tight, too tight a chain or too loose a chain will cause chain unwarranted vibrations. Thirdly, replace the oil while you are present, make sure the oil is replaced in front of your eyes.

All these can be done at your SVC, and the following mentioned in the job card.

Hope it helps. Do keep us posted.

                      Good luck.

                      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

The oil is changed recently and that to in front my eyes
The chain is not so tight
I think i need to adjust the valves and the tappet as well because i always get the bike running above 5k rpm so that might the reason that i need to adjust the valves

                        Thanks brother for your help

                              • Hello all.

I own a R15 V3. I purchased it last year in September. Now it has started making a tick sound everytime I switch it off.

I went to the service center and the mechanic was not able to fix the problem.

I don't have much knowledge & I am not even aware what is causing that sound. Is it something serious?

                                Kindly help!
Thank you & regards Ankur Goyal.
