Re: Yamaha R15 v3 ownership
Hi bro! that's exactly what it is!! I found it while inspecting my bike and during the first service they did something and it was not there for a day and since then, it again came... Do you know any workarounds??? also the rider's right footpeg is vibrating more than the left... any ideas to get that resolved? it's a little irritating while cruising between 75 and 85kmph because of that buzzOriginally posted by rckboogey View Post

Re: Yamaha R15 v3 ownership
hehe thank you for the advice... will try it tomorrowOriginally posted by rckboogey View PostYou can. Just apply it in a way that there is not too much on it so that it won't stick that much
btw may I know if the switch sound at 7400rpm varies between bikes? In the test bike I drove (also a brand new one), I was able to hear the switch at 7400rpm but in mine I'm not able to... Is it normal?

Re: Yamaha R15 v3 ownership
Nothing to worry. The switch happens when the VVA opens, and sometimes you might hear and not hear, don't bother. As long as the VVA displays on the screen, there's nothing to worry. Consider yours smoother.Originally posted by shravansp24 View Post

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Totally normal bro. I have a defined click sound when vva kicks in. It's normal.Originally posted by shravansp24 View Posthehe thank you for the advice... will try it tomorrow

Re: Yamaha R15 v3 ownership
Hi there, myself own MT15 and completed 1000km. 1st service done at 500km. I have a query. My mt15 vibrates a lot at 5000 to 7000 rpm and I can feel it on the handlebar and front foot pegs. Took to the service centre but no solution. Tried changing the handle bar end weights with heavy ones. To some extent it got reduced on the handlebar but not completely. Initial itself , I was disappointed as I expected a lot from this bike and Yamaha. Help me out.Originally posted by K.rava View PostToday 2nd service done ..
and i am satisfied with the servicing they have done to my v3 ..
They check the whole system with their computers ..and there was showing all informations on the screen..
woah [emoji32] i have to say that v3 has some high tech level of system and sensors that monitors all the engine and electronic functions..
they connected the computer with the bikes ECU..
When dignosing ..they found some problem with Engine RPM .. which they solved by adjusting the timing chain thing.. and now there is nearly no vibrations at all..
and they also said milage will also increase now.... [emoji2]
Only compain is that the polishing guy asked for 100rs tip.. but its ok.. 100 rs is no big deal...
and i also installed the Usb charger .. which only costs 750 rs ..and no extra charge [emoji2]
and 2nd servicing costs was 774 rs.. oil change , oil filter change , chain cleaning and chain lubricating ..
YES YAMAHA...

He said nearly no vibrations. That basically means, vibrations are present but not to an extreme level.Originally posted by govindsagar View PostHi there, myself own MT15 and completed 1000km. 1st service done at 500km. Several factors affect the vibrations on a bike.
For starters, it's a single cylinder. Every single cylinder bike vibrates at certain rpm.Hero Honda Splendor (June 2001- Present)
Yamaha YZF R3 (Jan 2016 - Present)
TVS Scooty Zest 110 (Oct 2017 - Apr 2018)

Re: Yamaha R15 v3 ownership
Hello guys.
I wanna know the part number and price of the front brake master cylinder of R15 v3 and the clamp holding it to the handlebar. I'd also like to know if it is the same as R15 v1/v2.
Thanks in advance.
