Few got 10k fine for exhaust DB killers doesn't matter.
    Yeah bro, definitely..

Since most of rides on the highway zones here in Chennai to Sriperumbudur industrial zones, so I kinda go under the radar of cops. Though I must say we have very chilled out cops for Enfields here basically.

Tamil Nadu mostly get angry or upset of the loud 4 cylinder superbikes and V8/V10 supercars, though they also most of the times escape due to influence.

I'm keeping the stock exhausts handy too. If sometime soon a very stringent rule passes, I would just swap back to stock.

      Hello everyone,
I'm planning to do 500 km ride back home due to covid-19. Any precautions I should take? I just completed my first service few days back. How bad is the stock seat on interceptor? Should I get one done before travel or is it manageable? I'm concerned about getting a flat tire, something I can do in that case?

Take hourly brakes, carry extra clutch wire if u wish. Clean and lubricate the chain before the ride then do lubrication post ride , something i noted that lubrication last around 400 to 500 kms easily on this chain.
Don't hold one rpm for too long a stretch , keep a modulating right wrist, try to keep it at 4.5k to 5k rpm max. Don't rip the throttle. Accelerate gradually.
Don't ride with your foot on the brake paddle (avoid accidental constant pressure). Adjust the angle of brake and gear lever according to your foot comfort.
Carry size 8 open end spanner in case u need to open the bleeder valve of caliper.
Use puncture sealant if u are sceptical about punctures.
Sparkplug opening tool is not present in tool kit so can add that if u wish or u can use size 16 socket and wrench.
Check and maintain tyre pressure before start in cold tyres.
Make sure clutch wire is secured to frame via clips or zip ties to avoid accidental burn by exhaust.
Tie ur luggage properly to avoid touching it on the exhausts.
More importantly know your Motorcycle before u start.
        Keep your self hydrated.

Hi everyone here I made this video on how to remove and change your Motorcycle's clutch cable.
Process is same for most Motorcycles.
Hope it would be helpful for others.

One of my friend needed exhaust for his continental GT so I suggested him High Note Performance. They provide all bike accessories as well as riding gear for bikers. I have been to HNP and found really cool stuffs. From helmets to exhaust. All necessary stuffs provided by them. Hope you guys can check out their store or their website.

Wear helmet while riding and Stay Safe

            Thanks

Yes they sell the ultra expensive s&s and one more similarly priced one. Other make of exhaust i dont think they deal in.
But again the main point is all these are illegal and attracts 10k fine. Many in delhi have already paid this much of fine for exhausts.

Regarding panniers, I have installed the Zana saddle stays and have been using a rynox saddle bag( thrown over the seat). But I have run into two problems,

                1) As the exhaust is upswept, if I fill the bags to capacity then they almost touch the exhausts. This is a fire hazard and I have been looking for alternatives. Namely, as in the official accessories for the classic, the panniers are seperate and are directly mounted on to the frame/ mounting points for the said panniers, instead of hanging over like a thrownover saddle bag.

                2) In this regard, is there any variant of panniers that would mount directly to the zana saddle stays?

                3) If not are there other products that allow for mounted/bold on panniers?

                thank you
Just to be sure - when you say "rynox saddle bag", do you mean the ones that are exclusively designed for upswept exhausts(Nomad series) or just standard saddle bags(like drystack series)?

If it's the former, then the company is misleading us

Alternatively, you can get a 4inch(width) plate welded to the bottom frame of the saddle stay to ensure your saddle bags rest on it at all times and not make contact with exhausts

Off topic , I use a exhaust but with a dB killer, not much of a issue .

I've been stopped by cops but not because of sound, it's not overly obnoxious or loud to disturb people as well , you can on par with the ktms in terms of loudness but not overly loud to disturb, also running a air filter and ecu soo engine runs properly .

                          Hey everyone!

Has anyone tried out alternate headlight bulbs for the INT650? Preferably LEDs. I don't plan on replacing the headlight unit due to budget constraints. Appreciate any guidance [emoji4]

Philips xtream vision or osram night breaker.

                              Hi,

I went with AUTOBAHN S2 H4.The one in the video my Interceptor only. It is a COB type and works well in dispersion type lens of old 650 twins. Great low beam. Though high beam mainly only for flashing. Not recommended for above 100kph rides in the night. No issues so far and consume less than 25 watts from the stock ones too.

If you have a clear lens after September 2019 batch, go with their M3 LED units.

M3 led headlight Power: 55W per pair Intensity: 16000 lumens (8000lm/bulb) - Luxeon ZES chips for high lumens and excellent light pattern

For high speed night rides I'd recommend their top of the line F5 GXP LED lights.

AUTOBAHN Technologies have a very friendly Customer Support via whatsapp too, they will clarify all your doubts before dispatch.

                              Cheers!
