Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
The flasher in our bikes is load dependent, it is not electronic. Electronic flashers have set flashing rate. LED's draw less power, so it'll start flashing fast. To correct this you need the electronic flashers which doesn't depend on load.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View Post

Really want to spend Rs.2k for flashy indicators?Originally posted by rakeshchn View PostI am thinking of replacing stock indicators on RTR 160 4v with KTM Duke's. Please share your experience if you manage to get this done in RTR 180.
Jokes apart it is better to stick with stock, cheap to replace and fix in comparison.
Nothing to worry about mate, once fixed in place turn the indicators on and see if its flashing, if it is then all is well.Originally posted by suvoysarkar View PostA bit confused here if i need to change the flasher,
as I'm currently waiting for my indicators to arrive.
As mechanics are not quite trustworthy in my area, I wanna be sure what to get done before I approach one for the replacing.
Please help me out with it.
If it needs to be replaced then please suggest which one to go for and the price if possible.
If it just stays on and doesn't flash then you need to get an electronic flasher which would cost around 120/- and is a direct fit, but chances are you won't need it as the ones that come on TVS motorcycles are electronic by default i.e the flash rate just speeds up with reduced current draw.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
Yes, that is an electronic flasher. Mechanical flashers are load dependent i.e if I swap bulb's for LED's then the relay doesn't flash, the bulb just stays on.Originally posted by Rakesh Frank View PostI don't think soo,.. My bike was 2012 model, i have replaced the Bulb as LED,. It was Flashing very fast,... so i replaced the stock Flasher..

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
For mirror even ASC fellas will do the adjustment for free of you don't want to experiment on your own. Apache 180 has alot of vibration and in long journeys it is bound to leave your hand numb specially if you do anything close to triple digit speeds or beyond. No matter how much bolt tightening and damping stuff you use. You will never see or feel the issue in routine city traffic as avg speed remains low. But the same is pretty irritating once you are driving on a long open stretch of road. I faced the same and above is my observation.[emoji20]Originally posted by mystic_me View PostHey Guys,
I own a Jan 2018 model A180. ODO reads 3500KM. Recently I took her for a long drive and noticed that due to vibration, one of the mirror slips down and constantly annoys. I had to adjust it on high speeds. Any suggestions ?.
I followed the run-in rules and started to rev her only after 2K km. But she vibrates like hell @5K RPM and during the speed 65 to 70kmph. I am using Synthetic TVS oil. Till date done three free services. Also need a suggestion for this issue.

As for the mirror's, pull down the rubber sheath and tighten the 3 screws gently.

No other modifications, just the indicators.Originally posted by S3maphor3 View PostNo issues with indicator . Only of you install a non stock led headlight. Cops at some places may trouble you. Also if you do any exhaust mods like extra loud ones could land you in trouble.
Thanks a lot for sharing the information
