Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Hello,
Had been on a short ride with a fellow biker. I was on a N250 and he on a Classic 500. The route was Thrissur - Athirappilly - Vazhachal - Malakkapara - Aliyar - Pollachi - Kollengode - Vadakkanchery - Thrissur. Totally around 315kms. The roads were an absolute bliss except for a small patch in the forests between Vazhachal and Malakkapara (5-6kms rough and patchy) and the last stretch of the Highway from Vadakkanchery to Thrissur was terrible with the work going on.
The Ninja performed extremely well throughout and the MRF tyres did not create problems even in gravel and patchy roads. Overall, an amazing ride with some good scenery!
Here are a few pics!

[QUOTE=vkuchhal;1261486]yes the oil seal has gone bad, get it replaced as soon as possible, since it being on the right side, same as the brake dics plates, you might find braking difficult if the oil comes on the plate.
Thanks man. Will get it checked and resolved on Monday. Yes, the braking reduced quite a lot. Did not realize it was because of the oil.

Is it a oil seal problem and how much would it cost to rectify it?
if in-terms for the price it might be around 2.5 k (1200 labor & 1000 odd for the oil seal(1 seal only)), so you might get the seal repaired for what is broken rather than both.
i recently got the job done and got the oil replaced too. Yamaha lube for forks of 10W (350ml).
