  • @tibby - i found those stickers too. no luck. i think ill have to order em online.

    @akshays - thanks man.

@monty007 - around 3.5k. They are normal stickers, which can be removed without damaging the plastic finish.

Also they are checking ninjas in india as well for leaks. They are pressurising the crankcase thru the breather, and check for leaks. I got my bike checked yesterday. good move bajaj.

    • I am trying to get my hands on the original Kawasaki ZX-2R tail cover stickers while I am in Melbourne - that's what the 250R is called here. Those stickers look really cool.

        • @sarvajit - if you wouldve found me this link before, it wouldve made life much easier. No i saw another bike online in black, with silver flame work done, but the issue was that i dint want flames, something tribal.

then the person doing the sticker job suggested putting a shadow to highlight the sticker, and the green effect came from there. I put the japanese lettering in green to balance the silver, and add some green there, since there was already some on the sides.

This wouldve been much cheaper!! and a better fit and finish too!!!! lol!!!! but i like the uniqueness of the bike now!!!

          • JD -That's a neat design...yes & do extend the shadow effect to tail but not completely ,only a single strip will look subtle as well as cool

@akshay: please donot post all pics again while quoting.thanks.

Sorry about that, I thought you would have already gone through the various country sites.
Anyways yours is cheaper (once you consider shipping costs)&exclusive too.
You did a good thing by not clear coating the stickers so they can be removed whenever you want.
I suggest you get green rim stripes now!

              • ^^ well green rim tape is on the cards, but was too tired last night to get any more work done. got free around 12:30 am or so.

Im not too sure how long the stickers will last, though im expecting atleast 3-6 months. then i can remove them and try something else also. Thats why no clear coat.

If anyone has any kawasaki related logos, stickers, pics etc, please post em here, so i can use em, and so can others.

                          • one does require a lot of patience to ride the beast at 4k especially on open roads.

I am confident that it had more than 20-25 kmph more in store. (I know the max. speed is 169 but may be it was a speedo error). The road was crowded so did not want to try for more.

Me and Tenhut were both doing 160 and I believe that both were doing it for the first time on any two wheeler. In fact he did it in 5th gear. I would not be comfortable doing 160 even in my car but was absolutely comfortable on ninja. Our Pune group had 2 P220, 1 R15 & 2 Ninjas. I believe that average trip speed was in excess of 100.

Summing up - No vibration, no shake, absolute confidence and more power in store.

Just for the record - I checked average of my ninja. In 230 km of city bumper to bumper driving & 100 km blast to Shirval at an average speed of more than 100 kmph, the bike consumed 14 ltr of petrol translating in an average of 23.5kmph.
at wat rpm did u manage to do 160kmph...
