Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

@satish and renny :- i've got FZ's front tire for my RTR's front..
sad part is i lost photo link .33K without a fork oil change is just too much! Fork oil needs change evry 10K kms... Beyond which it looses its viscosity and the volume decreasesOriginally posted by abhiwar View Postthanks ..today i went to SVC and they told me 600rs for clutch plates change..is this cost correct

Fork oil! - Do it!!!! Supposed to be done in 15K or so if I am not wrong!
Refer above! I guess depends on riding style as well!Originally posted by rennycornelius View Post33K's is high time for the clutch plates, if they're not gone now they've surely lost their charm, so get them changed.

the idling rpm can be adjusted by a spring loaded screw behind the throttle near the intake port (see the rubber connector on the engine intake). its adjustment is exactly similar to adjusting the idling in CV carb. n nothing happens in the ECU if u do it without connecting to the computer.Originally posted by rennycornelius View PostIs there any method to adjust the RPM of FI, without taking it to the showroom?
Like in DIY section HYDBIKER showed a technique of adjusting the RPM on R15.

This is something new for me, Is this only for RTR? I ran my P180 V1 for 35k & the fork oil was never changed, same for the my 13k run ZMA. My RTR has done around 12-13k & I dont feel the need either. Is there an issue with the type of oil used in RTR?33K without a fork oil change is just too much! Fork oil needs change evry 10K kms... I didnt have a problem with it too, but the SVC guys suggested I should do it as there was an evident clicking sound when I had crossed some 20K KMs in it. They suggested it to be done for some 15K KMs...Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

I agree, clutch plates life depends a LOT on the users riding habits.Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostRefer above! I guess depends on riding style as well!
But at 33K's it should be changed i think.
thanks, will be checking that.Originally posted by kk_RTR View Postthe idling rpm can be adjusted by a spring loaded screw behind the throttle near the intake port (see the rubber connector on the engine intake). its adjustment is exactly similar to adjusting the idling in CV carb. n nothing happens in the ECU if u do it without connecting to the computer.
Like Mr Apar said change it every 10-15K's, along with the oil seals.Originally posted by haxor View PostHow we will get to know when to change the fork oil of RTR?The Magician"

Nope, thats what I have read and heard..... Cos its a fork oil and it takes lot of pounding, the oil looses its viscosity is what I have heard.Originally posted by Technocrat View PostThis is something new for me, Is this only for RTR?
