hey guys any idea how many days it takes to get RC book in Bangalore???
I got my bike on Dec 4th.
Actually when I asked one of my friend about it who took bike around one year back he told he forgot to buy it. At the time when he bought the bike the dealers (from Haiku Honda, domlur) told it will take time. Slowly he forgot about the fact. Now what is he supposed to do. Actually when it reaches dealers, they are supposed to call, but it in his case it didn't happen.---------------------------------------------------------------------------

My friend at TVS SVC tested the bike on the 7th of december at the HOSUR plant..!!
He told me that it was too good & way better than the existing one..!! No skiding of the tyre,no matter how hard you brake..!!
Its got an ECU with all wirings to the braking system..!! Its got a pressure regulating pump(which costs around 15k)..!!
Guess what, the bike is just around 5k costlier to the existing model(thats 85k on road)..!!
Finally, TVS is the 1st INDIAN company which provides ABS technology to the customers at the lower end..!!
Im very sure about this matter, the guy at the SVC who went for testing the bike is my close friend & a senior supervisor..!!
You can definitely count on this news..!!
Your time is up..

Nice to hear that Apache is coming with ABS... I hope it will be possible for us to change to ABS in already existing apache bikes...
Also Apache is coming up with a latest technology Android integrated with bikes. I wonder what they are coming up with. Maybe GPS navigation, music file players which can be played with Bluetooth technology. I have no idea when it is going to come but what I know is that they are working on these. But anyway its going to be the starting of a new era for bikes.---------------------------------------------------------------------------

We had a training on Android in our company. The trainer told about this. Recently they are working on this. As far as I know it might take time. They didnt specify when and all it will be completed as it is quite confidential. They were just mentioning about places where and these technology was used & this was one example they specified.---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any other good options tubed or tubeless??
But as far as I know the R15 front tyre is applicable as per the size conf. But cant say how it will effect the performance.---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Sushil,
how do you rate RTR hyperedge for overall performance and confirt? I am 30 years 5'11" 65 kgs, love to do little more than just commuting always, i have driven p150 for 3 years, looking to see RTR, only concern is vibration, i took test drive where i didn't notice anything causing problem, may be i didnt obtain speed where i get vibrations, how is hyperedge in case of vibrations?
Thanks in advance
Manoj

YES, it is a direct fit and a very good option.Originally posted by Saty View PostIs R15 front tyre MRF Zapper FS 80-90-17 a direct fit for Apache Fi???

Though it looks slightly skinny than the stock, it has better performance. So, if you are not concerned with the looks, you can go ahead with it.

Hyperedge is certainly more smoother than its ancestors. U can definitely feel the difference if have ridden previous 160cc model and then try your hand in Hyperedge. Well, then the vibrations, i think its reduced in this model though i haven't ripped it to that level as i have yet to do my first service.Originally posted by mustmanoj View PostHi Sushil,

..personally i feel the vibrations are not that huge...i mean u will either get used with it or will discard it...i didn't feel any when i drew my friends bike...then when u r looking for performance oriented bike obviously there will be some vibrations because of that high torque...and the other thing is these vibrations are there to a certain extend only between 5k-6k(rpm)...once u cross that u wont find it..i mean, i haven't recognized it (or maybe i don't have time to
)...anyway now that u have ridden pulsar i can definitely say that u will love Apache more than pulsar because u will never find the kind of initial pick up (that adrenalin rush
) in them...maybe that point is debatable
..but i still stick to my word...
Also your height is ok for this..so my suggestion is to go ahead (though the final decision is yours)
