      A re Bindhas chalao Yep even after 220kms non-stop ride bike was Ready to roll in again after 1/2hr break but i never ripped it to limits all the time i was just cursin around 80-90...but this was in Winter

        acha it was in winter but in this summer if i ride for soo much km non stop i am sure bike ka baara baj jayga bike ka nahi to mera zaroor haga & yes some times I also rip my bike to 100 and after take a rest & again i when i start the bike it is ready and effortlessly roll again to 100 RTR FI is good bike but tyre is third class

            No. topped it with 5ml engine oil.

            At interval of 2000-2500 kms, i run a maintenance schedule, which includes
            1. oil change
            2. air filter cleaning
            3. chain cleaning and lubrication
            4. thorough bike wash
            There's lot to it other than saddle....

              NEVER put engine oil in the fork, use only the fork oil which is recommended, and never top up, replace it with a fresh one always.

                Nox, how did you connect ur pilot lamps to DC man? I tried it last weekend and ended up with a whole lot of cut wires. Are you having the H/L in DC As well? I want the H/L in AC from magneto and the Pilots alone in DC. It would be really helpful if you can tell me how to do it.

                P.S: I want the above setup operated from the same handlebar switch used to control the pilot lamps and H/L together and not any separate switch.

                  @ everyone

                  many of you guys mention about changes in lubes/oils/plugs/filters etc that you have done. And i guess all of you DIY...i wanted to know how you guys learnt this stuff? Was it trial(,mess up) and error or was it like there was a supervisor who taught you all the things....

                  Even i want to learn to tweaking with my bike but i'm s**t scared that i might do something really stupid and mess my bike permanently

                  plus the fact that i own an A160 FI -a system which is beyond most of the mechanics' bike-understanding abilities- makes it even worse

                  i know it's a really stupid doubt...but i really wanted to get it out of my system

                    @^^^ spend some time browsing the DIY and universal threads section here on xbhp . it has plenty of info . alternately attend G2Gs and meet likeminded petrolheads and ask them and have discussion

                    few years ago i knew nothing about bikes except folklore . now i feel i know something after i joined up this site .

                            Front number plate removed

                            I removed the front number plate today, i never liked the way it is designed and it used to look like a sore thumb out in the fairing.

                            i removed the plate and the holder and screwed back the two screws in the fairing holes, the front is looking more clean now.
                            will post the pics.
